List of CUET 2025 Subjects for BA Journalism: CUET UG 2025 is a national-level entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency for undergraduate admissions across 250+ universities in India. Students wishing to enroll in the BA Journalism program must appear for CUET UG 2025 exam and select specific subject combinations. The eligibility does not impose a minimum percentage requirement from Class XII. Students can choose from various combinations that include English as a mandatory subject along with other domain-specific subjects or the General Test. They can select any three subjects relevant to journalism from a list provided by the university.

Scheduled to take place tentatively in May 2025, CUET UG exam 2025 will be offered in a hybrid format, allowing candidates to choose between a computer-based test and a pen-and-paper format.. The test will consist of multiple-choice questions and will be available in 13 languages, including English and Hindi, catering to a diverse student population. NTA is expected to release the official notification for CUET UG in February 2025. This information brochure will include important details and dates regarding the application process, admit card release, exam date, etc.

CUET UG exam comprises three sections in total: languages, domain-specific subjects, and a general test. General Test is optional and designed for students applying to programs that require it. CUET Subject List of BA Journalism 

To secure admission into the BA Journalism program, students must select the following subjects for CUET 2025 exam.

List A: Languages (Section 1A and Section 1B)

CUET 2025 offers a wide selection of languages in Sections 1A and 1B. You may choose up to two languages from Section 1A and one language from Section 1B. Each language section comprises 50 questions, out of which 40 must be attempted within 45 minutes. The questions test reading comprehension, verbal ability, and vocabulary skills using different types of passages and exercises.

Important Note: Selecting a language is important for CUET, as applicants are required to possess effective communication skills. For B.A. Journalism applicants, English is considered the preferred language.

Students must appear for CUET in one of the following combinations:

B.A. (Hons.) Multimedia and Mass Communication

This program explores the evolving trends in multimedia platforms, communication technology, and theory. It prepares students for careers in various media fields through training in communication research and multimedia writing. It is a self-financed course, so students should check the fee structure.
