Eligibility Criteria for POSOCO 2023 Recruitment through GATE

The candidates will have to meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for POSOCO 2023 recruitment through GATE in the Executive Trainee post.

• The candidate has to be an Indian citizen

• The candidate must have a valid GATE 2023 score in EE or CSE

• The candidates should not exceed 28 years of age before 31st July 2023

  • Age relaxation for OBC candidates is 3 years.

  • Age relaxation for SC and ST candidates is 5 years.

  • Age relaxation for physically handicapped candidates is 10 years.

• The candidates should have passed B.Tech, B.E. or B.Sc Engineering degree with a minimum aggregate of 65% or equivalent CGPA.

• For Electrical engineering background, the acceptable specialisations are, Electrical/Electrical (Power)/Power Systems Engineering/Electrical and Electronics/Power Engineering (Electrical)

• For Computer Science Engineering, the acceptable specialisations are, Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering

• The final year students who will get their mark sheets by 14th august 2023 can also apply for this post if they have scored 65% in previous years in aggregate.

How to Fill POSOCO 2023 Recruitment Form?

Following is the step-by-step application process for POSCO recruitment. The application process for 2023 POSOCO recruitment through GATE will be online. There is no method to fill any offline form.

• The candidate has to log in to the POSOCO recruitment portal and enter the GATE scores first

• Following the GATE Score, the candidates will be asked to fill their bio-data, previous experience (if available), contact details etc.

• The candidates after submitting the form will have to pay Rs.500 online through online payment portals. People belonging from ST, SC, OBC, PwD and Ex-servicemen category will be exempted from application form payment.

• After the successful payment, the form will be generated and will be available to download and for print out.

POSOCO 2023 Recruitment Payscale

The pay scale for Executive Trainee post at POSOCO ranges between Rs.60,000 -Rs. 1,80,000 per month in the first year of the training period. After they complete their training tenure as Executive Trainees, they will be hired as an engineer with a possibility of 2x salary hike.
