SEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria

SEED 2025 Exam Syllabus 

The SEED 2025 syllabus will cover a diverse range of topics essential for evaluating candidates' design aptitude. Here’s an overview of what you can expect:

• Visualisation: Understanding and manipulating simple and complex 2D & 3D geometric shapes through pictorial and geometric representations.
• Observational, Perceptual, and Reasoning Abilities: Beyond surface details, the test assesses your ability to make connections, and comparisons, and form opinions, and conclude. You will need to analyze observations, express viewpoints clearly, and present them systematically.
• Creative and Problem-Solving Abilities: Testing your capability to visualize and connect with images around you, as well as your approach to identifying problems and proposing solutions.
• Application of Basic Science and Mathematics: Applying fundamental principles from science and mathematics (up to standard 10th) in practical contexts, observing their relevance in daily activities and objects.
• Art, Craft, Culture, Design, and Environment: Broad awareness of these subjects, both in an Indian and global context. This includes understanding various aspects like people, materials, tools, techniques, issues, influences, periods, and contemporary trends.

SEED Portfolio Presentation

After passing the written exams, candidates are required to submit a portfolio for the Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI). The upload link will be available on the SID admission portal shortly after the SEED 2025 PRPI shortlist is announced.

Candidates must adhere to specific guidelines when preparing their digital portfolios:

• The portfolio should showcase the candidate's best work, demonstrating their skills, interests, and passion across various areas and techniques.
• It must consist of a maximum of 15 slides in a PowerPoint presentation format, converted to a PDF not exceeding 5 MB.
• Each portfolio should highlight unique and compelling aspects of the candidate's achievements and aspirations.

SEED 2025 Results

The Symbiosis Institute of Design will announce the results of the SEED 2025 written exam shortly after its completion. Candidates selected for the Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) round will be chosen based on their performance in the written exam.

SID Admission Process

• Apply for SEED 2025: Candidates meeting eligibility criteria must submit their applications before the deadline. This involves registration, filling out required information, document uploads, and payment of the application fee.
• Download the Admit Card: Upon successful registration, candidates can download their admit cards from the SID admission portal. On the exam day, they must bring the admit card and a valid photo ID. The admit card includes details like the candidate's roll number, exam date, time, and guidelines.
