TNEA Counselling Process 2024
Registration and Certificate Verification
The first step to participate in the TNEA counselling process 2024 is registration. The TNEA 2024 counselling date has been announced in the official website. The registration process started on May 6 and closed on June 11, 2024. Verification of certificates started from June 13 and ended on June 30, 2024. Candidates were required to apply in online mode to participate in the TNEA counselling. If registration gets completed succesfully, candidates must take part in the document verification process with the necessary documents.
Publication of Rank List
The TNEA rank list 2024 is prepared based upon the marks secured by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their senior secondary exam. Candidates’ ranks in the TNEA rank list 2024 determines their chances of admission into the TNEA participating colleges.
Choice Filling
Candidates are provided 3 days for choice filling within which they are required to fill in their preferred choices of colleges and branches. Candidates must order their choices as per their priority of preferences. There is no limit upon the number of choices that candidates can fill. After that, certification verifcation is done. Seat Allotment
Candidates are allotted seats across the B.E/ B.Tech colleges of Tamil Nadu based upon the choices filled by them and their rank in the TNEA rank list 2024. Confirmation of Allotment
During the seat allotment process, If a candidate is allotted a seat, then they will be provided with options related to the confirmation of seat. Candidates must confirm their seat within 2 days from the date of allotment failing which the candidates will be taken to the subsequent round.
Reporting to Allotted Institute
Reporting is the final stage in the TNEA counselling process 2024. Candidates who have accepted their allotted seats must download the seat allotment order and report to the allotted institute within 7 days with the necessary documents and complete the admission process by paying the required fees.
