CUET Eligibility Criteria 2024 for Top CUET Universities in India

• There is no upper age limit for candidates taking the CUET UG.
• Candidates who have passed or are scheduled to take the class 12th/equivalent examination in 2024, regardless of their age, are eligible to take the CUET (UG).
• However, the Candidates must meet the age requirements (if any) of the university(ies) to which they wish to apply.
• If the candidates have cleared the 12th exam or are waiting for the result then they are also eligible for this test.
• CUET is mandatory for all students who want to be admitted to Central/State or Private University to pursue graduation. CUET has been made mandatory for the 45 Central universities.

• Application Process and Entrance Exam for CUET: Admissions are based on the results of the CUET entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). • CUET Merit List: Once the entrance exam is conducted, a CUET merit list 2024 of candidates who qualify in the exam is prepared. On the basis of the merit list, they are notified to appear for the counselling process for the allocation of seats in colleges. If a candidate, who is awarded admission to one of the colleges remains absent during the next counselling session, the seat is awarded to the next eligible candidate in the merit list.

• CUET Counseling: Each university releases its individual rank of the list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the CUET counseling 2024. After registering online, candidates have to appear in the counselling session. Upon CUET seat allotment, candidates have to pay admission pay and secure a seat.
