Chandigarh University takes pride in unveiling the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for the academic year 2024-25. CUCET stands as a national-level entrance exam and scholarship test, setting the stage for students’ admission journey into esteemed programs including Engineering, MBA, Pharmacy, LLM, and Integrated Law courses.
About Chandigarh University
Chandigarh University was established in 2012 by the Punjab State Legislature. It is a private university recognised by UGC. Located in Mohali, Punjab, the university is also accredited by the NAAC with an ‘A+’ grade. Chandigarh University has also received approvals from AICTE, BCI, PCI, NCTE, AIU, COA, CSI and NCHMCT. Chandigarh University has topped India’s private universities list in the QS Asia Rankings 2025, rising to 120th in Asia overall, up from 149th in 2024. CU surpassed premier institutions like IITs and NITs in the India level ranking. Admission to the majority of the courses offered at the university is entrance-based. For some courses, like, B.Pharm, BA LLB, LLM, and, B.Sc, candidates also need to appear for counselling. The step-by-step Chandigarh University application process for 2025 is mentioned below:
- Step 1: Go to the official website of the university which is cuchd.in
- Step 2: Register yourself as a fresh applicant by entering the required details and making the registration payment of Rs 1,000. For offline registration, the admission brochure can be obtained from the university office by paying Rs 1,000.
