Consortium of NLUs Allows Withdrawal from CLAT 2020
After a meeting held on June 29, 2020, the Executive Committee of the Consortium of NLUs announced that candidates can withdraw their CLAT applications by July 10, 2020. CLAT 2020 has been rescheduled for August 22, 2020.
Candidates who have already applied for CLAT 2020 can now withdraw from the exam by July 10, 2020. After a meeting held on June 29, 2020, the Executive Committee of the Consortium of NLUs announced a number of decisions in view of COVID-19's impact on CLAT 2020.
The Consortium has asked all the candidates to either select/reconfirm their test centres or withdraw their CLAT applications within the stipulated time. The CLAT application fee will be refunded to the candidates who opt out of the exam after a deduction of INR 500 (INR 400 for SC/ST candidates). The same will be made by July 18, 2020.
CLAT 2020, that has been rescheduled for August 22, will now be held in a computer-based, online, centre-based mode. Candidates can choose their first three preferred locations from a list of 203 test city centres by July 10, 2020. The EC further added that the decision was taken in the best interest of the safety and health of the candidates as well as the test administrators.

The final list of the CLAT 2020 test city locations will be released in early August based on centre viability and the preferences of the candidates.
Revised Schedule of CLAT 2020
As per the revised schedule announced by the conducting body, the events of CLAT 2020 will take place on the following dates:
