Founders Day celebration (tree plantation program)

Organizing Department: Department of Electronics Engineering.

Participated By: Teaching, Non-teaching Staff & students of department

Purpose : The goal of this tree plantation program is to reduce pollution & save the environment by tree plantation in the school premises & also encourage the Engineering students to actively involved in the social activities. This noble activity was organized on the occasion of founder’s day.

Installation of Students Forum “Exess”

Held on July 20, 2013.

The function was graced by the due presence of Guest of honor Dr. R.V. Kshirsagar, Prof. Mrs. A.P. Rathkanthiwar, Prof. A.B. Bavaskar, and Mr. Dibyanshu Barnwal .

Prof. A.P. Rathkanthiwar introduced executive body member and presided the function.

At the end Prof. A. B. Bavaskar proposed a vote of thanks to a faculty member and students to attend the program.

Induction Programme

The induction program organized for the 2nd year students of B.E. Electronics.

Dr. R.V. Kshirsagar has inaugurated the function and addressed the students.

A Guest Lecture on “GATE Exams”

A guest lecture was conducted by Mr. Pravin Kumar, from The Gate Academy, Hyderabad in the Electronics Department on 7th August 2013.

Emphasis was laid on the importance of GATE exam in Public Sector Units (PSU’s).

The program was coordinated by Prof. Mr. A.B. Bavaskar for the under graduation students.

Parents Teacher’s Meet

Held on 10th August 2013.

This meet was coordinated by Prof. Mrs. K.M. Bogawar and Prof. Mr. A. R. Zade.

Parents shared their concerns and viewpoints in the form of suggestions and feedback.

This contributes to the overall development of the students and the institute

VLSI- An exposure in industries

A guest lecture by Mr. Saeed, from Nano Science and Research Centre, Hyderabad “VLSI- An exposure in industries “ was organized on 14th August 2013.

A discussion was held on the importance of Very Large Scale Integration in the industries.

Prof. Mr. A. B. Bavaskar coordinated this program for post graduation and third year under graduation students.

Ph. D. Course workshop

“Research Methodology including Mathematical Modeling and Computer Application and Simulation” From 9th December to 13th December 2013.

The convener for the program was Dr.R.V.Kshirsagar .

The co-conveners of the workshop were Prof. Mrs.A.P.Rathkanthiwar and Prof.P.R.Rothe.

45 participants including other institute attended the workshop

Various activities under the banner of EXCESS organized like Debate competition, Rangoli, tattoo making, M mehndi, Nail art competition on 11 January 2014.

Guest Lecture Organized

A guest lecture was organized by the department on 30th January 2014 on “Advanced Microprocessor-80386” for all VIII semester Electronics Engg students .

Delivered by Mrs .Anagha Choudhary, Astt Prof, YCCE, Nagpur.

The guest lecture was coordinated by Ms.D.M.Meshram and Mrs.K.M.Bogawar.EN Engg.

Two Days Workshop

Electronics Department organized two-day workshop on PCB design and fabrication process using ORCAD under the banner of EXCESS on 28-29 January 2014

This workshop was organized for the students of IV and VI semester electronics and Electronics & Telecommunication Engg.

The workshop was conducted by in-house faculties Ms.Sharda Mungale and Prof.A.B.Bavaskar assistant professors in electronics Egg ,PCE.Nagpur.

Electrobitz-14

Department of Electronics Engg organized 2 Days event on 4th and 5th March 2014 under the banner of “Electroblitz -14”.

It included the paper presentation, project exhibition, and cultural events.

Along with that on 1st and 3rd March, a number of games had been organized like one minute games, carom, chess, slow scooter race & robot war.

In paper presentation competition “TECHNOTRONICS” organized on 4th March 2014 , which covered the areas like wireless communication, embedded systems, VLSI, image processing ,robotics, computer network and security, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing

In project exhibition and competition “ELECTROCRAFT” organized on 5th March from 10:30am to 1:30pm. which covered the projects based on the different application of electronics engineering and automation.

“Fashioniesta” fashion show was organized under the banner of ELECTROBLITZ -14 on 5th March 2014

‘NATRAAZ’ dancing competition was organized under the banner of ELECTROBLITZ -14 on 5th March 2014
