The Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has rescheduled the exam date for Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2020 in view of the COVID-19 outbreak. The exam was conducted from July 26 to July 28, 2020, in an internet-based online proctored mode. The session timings for the exam will be from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. wherein 75 minutes will be allocated for MCQs and 30 minutes will be granted for the Written Ability Test (WAT).
The university has also released guidelines for SLAT 2020 examinees as the exam will be conducted as Remote Proctored Assessment, unlike previous years. The three-step process given below will make sure that the system of the candidate is checked and configured for a seamless exam experience from home. In case any issue arises, the same will be fixed within the given time, after which candidates will have to appear for a mock assessment.
Step 1: Infrastructure Readiness Check (IRC)
The following details on your system will be checked over a period of three days:
Versions of needed software installed in the computer and its security control levels like the Browser, its version and security settings
The Operating System
Appropriate camera installation and its configurations
Availability of adequate internet upload or download bandwidth
Any other software installed in the candidate's computer (such as anti-virus, permissions to write in the disk, etc.)
Whether the system screen resolution is set to 1024 X 720 or not
Candidates can get these checked according to their convenience and in case of any issue, the same must be communicated to the Technical Helpdesk.
