The Karnataka Government has asked the Directorate of Medical Education to design the rules and regulations for the admissions to the B.Sc Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics and B.Sc Allied Health Sciences programmes in the state. Karnataka B.Sc Nursing Eligibility Criteria 2019
Those who are interested in pursuing a nursing programme in Karnataka, they are required to meet the Karnataka B.Sc Nursing Eligibility Criteria 2019. As per the rules and regulations of DME, aspirants need to have a Pre-University Certificate (PUC) from the stream of science.
Candidates must pass the subjects of Physics, Chemistry Biology and English individually.
Candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 45% in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology together.
As per reservation rules, SC/ST candidates will need to obtain a minimum aggregate score of 40% in the qualifying examination.
Karnataka BPT Eligibility Criteria 2019
Those who are interested in pursuing an undergraduate course in physiotherapy in Karnataka, they will need to satisfy the Karnataka BPT Eligibility Criteria 2019. The basic eligibility criteria needed for admission to the course requires aspirants to have cleared their class 12 board examinations in the stream of science.
Candidates need to pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
A minimum aggregate score of 40% in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
SC/ST/OBC candidates need to obtain a minimum aggregate score of 35%
Karnataka BPO Eligibility Criteria 2019
The candidates who are aspiring to pursue a programme in prosthetics and orthotics in the state, they will need to meet the Karnataka BPO eligibility criteria 2019. As per the DME regulations, candidates need to have a valid PUC, i.e. pass class 12 board examinations from a Karnataka Government recognised board of education.
Candidates need to pass in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English
They will need to obtain a minimum aggregate score of 40% in Physics, Chemistry Mathematics/Biology.
SC/ST/OBC candidates need a minimum aggregate score of more than 35% in the qualifying examination.

The candidates interested in pursuing one of the allied health science courses in Karnataka, then they will be required to satisfy the Karnataka B.Sc Allied Health Sciences Eligibility Criteria 2019.
Candidates must have passed the class 12 board examination or have a valid PUC or any other equivalent degree recognised by the Karnataka Government or Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
Candidates must pass the class 12 board examination in subjects of Science, viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

The admission to all the courses mentioned above will be done based on the rules and regulations as defined by the Directorate of Medical Education. Take a printout of the application form (A4 size only)
