Hindu College is one of the most prestigious colleges in India, affiliated to the University of Delhi (DU). Hindu College offers full-time programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The admissions to Hindu College have changed the criteria from the 2023 session. For the UG courses, students must clear the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) apart from clearing Class 12 exams and for the PG courses CUET PG is a must.
The eligibility criteria for the UG and PG courses vary. Clearing Class 12 examinations with a minimum of 40% is a must to apply for Hindu College admission. While for the undergraduate courses, admissions were based on the Class 12 marks till now, the eligibility criteria have been modified in the year 2023. Disha conducts enriching pre-placement activities for students to make them industry-ready. Personality development seminars, mock interview sessions, grooming skills, and communication enhancement are polished.
The Hindu College placement is a success each year with an average placement rate of 95%. The majority of the recruitment happens in companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Jaypee, Maruti, and Ernst and Young, among others. As per the Hindu College placement report, the highest package offered for the 2022 session was Rs 19.3 lakh per annum and the average package offered was Rs 8.4 lakh per annum. Hindu College Library Facilities
The Hindu College Library is one of the oldest libraries in Delhi University. It was founded in 1899. The library is fully air-conditioned and digitised. There is an allotted reading room for students and teachers. All the best books and resources are stocked in the library so that students can make full use of them. Students can also avail of the library membership that offers them various added benefits.
Auditorium
A huge auditorium of 3362 square feet is present in the university. It has a seating capacity of more than 900 individuals. In addition, there are also 2 green rooms and a balcony.
Food court
Hindu College food court consists of a canteen and open-air court. A variety of cuisines are available at reasonable prices. The canteen caters to the eating habits of diverse groups. A modern kitchen is present where hygienic food is freshly prepared. There is a capacity of 100 students for the indoor canteen and 200 students for the outdoor canteen.
Banking
A branch of the State Bank of India is present on campus.
Girls’ Common Room
A hall with sofas, seating arrangements, and a washroom has been specially designed for female students. It provides vending machines for all female hygiene essentials.
Health Facilities

Hostels

As part of this, a scholarship of Rs 6,000 is provided on a merit-cum-means basis. It is awarded to deserving students from the 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd year each of the BA (H) Economics course.
Two scholarships of Rs 15,000 each will be provided to Science final year students as per this scheme.
One scholarship each of Rs 12,000 will be provided to 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd-year students of BA (H) Economics.

The college offers one-year certificate, and self-financing courses in the following foreign languages: German, Spanish, and French. Foreign language skills equip the students for seeking employment in different parts of the world. The courses are conducted in collaboration with Goethe Institute/Max Mueller Bhawan, Institute Cervantes, and Alliance Francaise de Delhi.
