GATE 2025 exam

CCMT 2025 Counselling/ Registration Process
Applicants seeking admission to M.Tech/ M.Arch/ M.Plan/ M.Des course through CCMT 2025 will have to register online. CCMT registration will be followed by choice locking and seat allotment rounds. Following are the detailed counselling steps of CCMT 2025 that the student should refer to.
Step 1- Online Registration
- Applicants will have to register in online mode by visiting the CCMT 2025 portal.
- The registration process for CCMT counselling 2025 will be conducted online mode.
- Applicants will have to provide their basic details including information about GATE and educational qualifications, mobile number, email address among others.
- Applicants will have to create a password at the time of registration which will be used for all their future logins.
- A registration fee will also to be paid by the students in order to participate in CCMT 2025 counselling.

Step 2- Online Choice Filling and Locking
- Applicants should fill in choices for the colleges and specializations as per their preference during CCMT choice filling.
- The choice filling has to be done within fixed dates in online mode by logging in to the portal of CCMT 2025.
- Applicants will see the list of institutes and their specializations as per their rank in GATE (2025/2024/2023).
- Applicants will be mandated to select the preferences in order of choice and lock them before the conclusive date of choice locking.
- The participants will be required to fill and lock the choices as the allotment of seats will be done based on the choices filled by them by evaluating the score in the GATE 2025 exam.
Step 3 - Online Seat Allotment
- The procedure of CCMT 2025 allotment of seats will be done through a centralized seat allotment procedure in online mode.
- Seat allotment is done in the order of merit of GATE score and as per the choices filled by applicants in CCMT counselling 2024.
- The result of the CCMT seat allotment will be published in online mode.
- Applicants will be directed to log in to their portal of CCMT 2025 to review their seat allotment process in online mode.

- Applicants must cite that three rounds of seat allotment and special round counselling will be conducted by CCMT.
- Seats that will remain vacant in normal rounds and internal sliding will be filled through the special round.

Step 4- Deposit of Seat Acceptance Fee
- Applicants who will be allotted seats during the CCMT 2025 seat allotment round will have to deposit the seat acceptance fees for CCMT 2025 online.
- The payment of seat acceptance fees is obligatory to confirm the seat allotted to the respective students.

Step 5- Physical Reporting at Reporting Centre
- Applicants who will be allotted a seat have to pay the seat acceptance fees in consonance with the need to report to the most immediate reporting center for records validation and defining the readiness towards approval or nonacceptance of seats allotted to them.
- Reporting to the reporting center is required for every candidate after the CCMT 2025 allotment of seats and payment of CCMT 2025 seat acceptance fees.
Step 6- Document Verification
- Applicants have to carry all the documents related to educational qualification, category (if applicable), and other required documents in original and at least two Xerox copies of each while reporting document verification at regional centers.
- The authorized individual will review and verify the authentic documents and will maintain the Xerox copies.
- Applicants will be allocated the document verification slip after the successful validation of all required documents.
Step 7- Specifying Willingness
- Applicants while reporting to the reporting centers, have to determine their willingness for the allotted seat of CCMT 2025.
- Applicants will have the following options to exercise: FLOATING, SLIDING, FREEZING.
- Floating: Applicants who wish to be considered in the next round for all of their better-preferred choices and maintain the currently allotted seat will be able to select the “Floating” option
- Sliding: Students who wish to be assessed in the next round for their better-preferred options only within the college allotted to them will select the “Sliding” option
- Freezing: Students who are pleased with the currently allotted seat and do not want to be evaluated for allotment of better-preferred choices in the succeeding rounds
Note: Applicants need to note that if the allotted seat is of better-preferred choice for a student who has selected her/his willingness as Floating or Sliding then, she or he will compulsorily relinquish the affirmation on the seat allotted to her or him in the more premature rounds.
Step 8- Physical Reporting to the Allotted Institute for Admission
- The selected students will have to report to the allotted institute after the national upgrade round as per the schedule.
- Applicants will be published a provisional allotment letter that they have to download from the portal of CCMT 2025.
- Applicants will have to bring the document verification slip received from the reporting center and the downloaded provisional allotment letter while reporting to the allotted institute.
- Applicants must note that they must report to the allotted institute within the stipulated due date, which will be cited in their CCMT 2025 provisional allotment letter, failing which their seat will get counterbalanced.
CCMT 2025 Special Round Counselling
The special round counselling of CCMT 2025 will be organised after the closing of all three regular rounds. Students have to register afresh to participate in the special round counselling and pay the registration fees accordingly. The detailed details will be discussed in a tabular format.
