CSIR NET E-Certificate

CSIR NET E-Certificate is a certificate awarded to the candidates who qualify in the CSIR UGC NET Exam for JRF and Lectureship positions in the CSIR NET Exam receive this CSIR NET certificate. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research issues Part I certificates, while the University Grants Commission (UGC) awards Part II and Part III certificates to candidates who successfully complete the CSIR NET 2024 process. The CSIR NET E-Certificate is uploaded to the CSIR or NTA website approximately 2-3 months after the CSIR NET 2024 Result is declared. It includes all of the information of the candidate as well as their final ranking.

The CSIR NET E-Certificate 2024 will be available on the official website, and candidates must download it for future use. Individuals with valid CSIR NET certificates are eligible for Lectureships, and Junior Research Fellowships at universities and colleges across the country.

How to download CSIR NET E-Certificate 2024?

Once the certificates are available, students can download the CSIR NET E-Certificate from the official website by following the steps below.

Step 1: Candidates must go to the CSIR NET official website.
Step 2: Select the e-Services option which will be present at the top of the page.
Step 3: Then click on the link for Joint CSIR UGC NET Certificate 2024 or Joint CSIR UGC NET E-Certificate 2024 . Candidates will then be directed to the login page where they can access their application data.
Step 4: Enter the 'Application Number, Date of Birth and Security PIN' . Then click on the ' Submit' option
Step 5: Download the CSIR UGC NET Certificate .
Step 6: Take a printout of the certificate for future use and also keep a soft copy in their device.

Note: Candidates might have some difficulties downloading the certificate due to high traffic on the page; in this case, they should contact the help desk using the contact information provided on the CSIR NET website.

How to download CSIR NET E-Certificate 2024 Part 2 and 3?

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC, https://www.ugc.ac.in/.
Step 2: Find the link "Click to download the e-certificate of the CSIR-UGC Test from December 2016 onwards" and click on it.
Step 3: Select "Yes" or "No".
  • Candidates who received their password via OTP after September 1, 2017, or when filling out the CSIR NET application form can select "Yes".
  • Candidates who did not obtain their password via OTP, select "No" and let the password be generated.
Step 4: After filling out all of the required information, click the "Login" button to download the CSIR NET E-certificate.

CSIR NET Certificate Validity

The CSIR UGC NET Certificate has a different validity period for Lectureships and Junior Research Fellowships (JRF). The following points describe the CSIR NET certificate validity:

  • JRF candidates must note that the CSIR NET Certificate is valid for two years from the date of issue.
  • The validity of the CSIR NET e-certificate for the Assistant Professor or Lectureship (LS) position is lifetime.

Documents Required for CSIR NET Certificate

Before downloading the CSIR NET certificate, candidates must submit some important documents to the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research's official address. The CSIR NET E Certificate will be issued after these documents have been verified. The list of documents required for CSIR NET Certificate is provided below:

  • CSIR NET Exam Mark Statement
  • Admit card of the CSIR NET Exam
  • Caste Certificate (if required)
  • Marksheet of 10th class (as date of birth proof).
  • CGPA/SGPA/OGPA/CPI conversion formulas of their respective Universities/Institutes or certificates issued by the concerned University/Institute that clearly state the marks percentage of qualifying degree.
  • Division of marks (for dual degree)
  • Proof of Economically Weaker Section Category (Income and Asset Certificates), as required by the relevant authorities.
  • M.Sc., Integrated BS-MS, B.E/B.Tech, B-Pharma, MBBS, or an Equivalent Degree along with the Required Percentage of Marks.
  • Physical disability certificate (in the case of physically and visually impaired people)

Note: Candidates must write on the envelope with "Documents for June 2024 (JRF/LS-PART-I-RESULT) NET Exam and Roll Number" while sending all the documents.

Important Instructions for Sending the Documents

Candidates must follow the important instructions while sending the documents to the officials to avoid complications.

  • OBC applicants should be aware that they must submit their OBC caste certificate in the format specified on the official website.
  • Certificates in languages other than Hindi and English must be translated into Hindi or English and attested by the original certificate's issuing authority.
  • Candidates who applied in the Result Awaited (RA) category (MSc or equivalent) must submit the necessary documents only after they have completed their qualification.
  • Candidates who would like to carry their documents in person must go on working days between 10 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Such candidates should bring self-attested copies of the above-mentioned documents with them (they shouldn't be sent by post).

Instructions for CSIR NET Duplicate Certificate

Candidates must follow the steps provided below to receive a duplicate CSIR NET E-Certificate.

  • The application number, parents' names, date of examination, roll number, domain subject, as well as candidate's address should all be entered in an affidavit on judicial stamp paper. Both the appropriate authority and UGC have to verify the same.
  • If a candidate discovers the original CSIR Certificate, they must state in their affidavits that they will return the duplicate CSIR NET certificate as soon as possible, without any misuse.
  • The candidate must draw a Rs 100 demand draft in favour of the Secretary, University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, and pay it at the State Bank of India (SBI), Service Branch (code-7687). The draught must be submitted in addition to the affidavit.
  • Furthermore, candidates also need to submit a FIR with the attestation stamp of a Class-I gazetted officer along with a certified copy of the FIR that has been registered at the Police station must be included.

Note: If a candidate did not submit the documents previously, they can submit them along with the request letter.

What to do if the CSIR NET E-Certificate is not received?

Candidates must know the following pointers to understand what to do if CSIR NET E-Certificate is not recieved:

  • Officials will only issue a duplicate certificate if you lose it or do not receive the original.
  • Candidates must state in their affidavit that if they find their original CSIR NET Award Letter, they will not misuse the duplicate and return it to the NET Bureau.
  • In addition to the affidavit, candidates must submit a demand draft for INR 100/- made payable to the Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi and payable at State Bank of India, Service Branch, New Delhi.
  • Candidates must include an attested copy of the FIR filed at the Police Station. The Class-I gazetted officer's attestation stamp must include his or her name, designation, as well as the official address.
