CUET 2024 Languages Syllabus (IA & IB)
has been released by NTA. Aspirants of CUET UG 2024 must attend any of the languages from IA and IB in the examination. To perform well in the entrance exam, candidates must be familiar with the CUET 2024 Languages (IA& IB Syllabus). The candidates need to master the syllabus of

To prepare for the CUET 2024 exam, it is crucial to first obtain the syllabus. NTA provided a clear syllabus for CUET 2024 Language, ensuring aspirants have a focused preparation. The entire syllabus is written in a comprehensible manner. The syllabus clearly lists the important topics and specifies the total number of questions that a candidate must answer. To achieve high scores in the language section, candidates must be well-prepared in all topics.
Latest Update : The CUET UG exam is happening from May 15, 2024, to May 24, 2024. CUET UG 2024 Admit Card has been released for the exams from May 15 to May 18, 2024, in pen and paper mode. Candidates must check out the latest CUET Admit Card 2024 and download it. Furthermore, the CUET Exam City Intimation Slip 2024 was also out on May 6 for the candidates appearing for exams from May 15- May 18, 2024. NTA will conduct 15 test papers in offline mode from May 15 to May 18 and 48 subjects will be held in CBT mode from May 21 to May 24, 2024. Since the CUET UG 2024 exam will be conducted in 7 days with a single shift, there will be no normalization process of score.
For candidates appearing in CBT mode for exams on May 21, 22, and 24, 2024, the admit card will be issued separately.
Note:
1. The exam that was going to be held on May 15, 2024, for Delhi candidates has been rescheduled to May 29, 2024.
2. The Delhi candidates can download a revised admit card from the website for the exam dates May 16 - May 18 and May 29, 2024.
3. If candidates fail to download the admit card from the web portal, they should reach the exam center with the already downloaded admit card and appear in the exam.

CUET Overview
CUET is considered as a selection channel for undergraduate courses in central universities. It was formerly known as Central University Common Entrance Test. And this year the name has been simplified to Common University Entrance Test. Over 45 central universities, 10 private universities along with a few state universities are going to take part in this exam. The successful students may get admission to the following universities like Visva Bharati University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Delhi University, Central University of Punjab, Central University of Kerala, Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Milia Islamia, Benaras Hindu University and others.
CUET 2024 will be conducted in 547 cities all over India and in 24 places abroad. NTA has offered 13 language options for the candidates of which they can choose their preferable one to appear in the exam. The entire examination will be organized in three shifts.

According to the latest notification of NTA, the questions for the language section will be categorized into 6 following segments:
Reading Comprehension: The questions of this section will be from three types of passages each one comprising 300-350 words - Factual, Narrative, Literary
Verbal Ability
Rearranging the Parts
Choosing the Correct Word
Synonyms and Antonyms
Vocabulary
It will be compulsory for the students to attempt 40 questions out of 50 and they will get 45 minutes duration to solve section IA. The sole purpose of this language test is to evaluate the comprehensiveness and fluency of the candidates in their chosen language.
CUET 2024 Exam Pattern
Candidates require an effective exam format to follow and NTA has already catered to that need by releasing CUET 2024 exam pattern . It includes the nature of questions, total no. of questions, duration of the exam, assessment method, and other information related to the CUET 2024 exam.

The first two of the four segments listed above cover the Language Syllabus. Section IA includes 13 languages from which aspirants can choose any one. Section IB includes 20 languages and is specifically designed for candidates interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree in the NTA-designated special languages.
