GATE Aerospace Engineering exam date 2025 is February 15, 2025. GATE 2025 Aerospace Engineering syllabus includes 6 subjects like Engineering Mathematics, Flight Mechanics, Space Dynamics, etc. Around 6,000 candidates appear for the GATE AE paper every year.
GATE 2025 Aerospace Engineering

GATE 2025 Aerospace Engineering: IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE Aerospace Engineering exam on February 15, 2025, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. GATE AE (Aerospace Engineering) is one of the least opted papers with an average of 6,000 takers every year. On the other hand, AE seats in M.Tech are limited, and therefore the competition for admission is high despite the fewer takers for the entrance exam. The GATE Aerospace Engineering syllabus 2025 includes 6 sections namely Engineering Mathematics, Flight Mechanics, Space Dynamics, Aerodynamics, Structures, and Propulsion. Students opting for the Aerospace Engineering paper of GATE 2025 can also choose one more subject as the second combination. The GATE AE exam 2025 will be conducted in CBT mode and include MCQ and NAT-type questions. Candidates preparing for the GATE exam should study the completed GATE AE syllabus 2025 and solve the previous year's papers, mock tests, and sample papers.

Dewesh Nandan Prasad, Content Team

Dear Student,

To become an astronaut in India, you have to join ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation), but to get into ISRO, you must have technical degrees like aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, or electronics and communications engineering. However, getting a technical degree will not assure entrance to ISRO. Getting into ISRO will require rigorous training after completing research and a technical degree. Some of the colleges that provide the best aeronautical courses are given below:

  • MNR Group of Institutions
  • PYDAH Kaushik College of Engineering
  • Guru Nanak Institute of Management, Hyderabad
  • Veltech Titupati
  • MRCET Hyderabad
  • Nimra Institute of Science …
