The GATE Civil Engineering (CE) exam 2025 will be held on February 16, 2025, in the morning and afternoon shifts. GATE 2025 Civil Engineering exam has an average of 15000 takers every year. The GATE 2025 CE syllabus is classified into 7 sections, including core topics and Engineering Mathematics.

GATE 2025 Civil Engineering: IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE Civil Engineering exam 2025 on February 16, 2025, in the forenoon (9:30 am - 12:30 pm) & afternoon shift (2:30 pm - 5:30 pm). The GATE Civil Engineering is one of the most opted subjects that sees over 1 lakh applications and 85000 exam takers each year. It is a core engineering branch that is offered by the top IITs and NITs. If you are a graduate or appearing in your final year, then you can apply for the GATE 2025 exam . The GATE 2025 Civil Engineering exam will be held for 3 hours and feature 65 questions from 3 sections namely General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and the subject-specific Questions. Further, the GATE Civil Engineering exam will include 3 types of questions, ie, MCQs, MSQs, and/or NAT.

IIT Roorkee has announced the GATE 2025 Civil Engineering exam date on its official website. Further, as per the official notification, the exam will be conducted on February 16, 2025, in two shifts. More details related to the GATE CE exam date can be found in the table below:-

In 2024, more than 1 lakh registrations were seen, out of which, a total of 85869 contenders turned up for the exam. Similarly, in the year 2023, the total number of students who appeared was 83187. GATE Civil Engineering Qualifying Trends Over the Years

Being one of the toughest and the most competitive papers in GATE, Civil Engineering sees an average of 15,000 exam takers each year. In the year 2024, where there were a total of 85869 exam takers, only 16604 out of them qualified the exam. In 2023, a total of 15785 passed the exam. Furthermore, considering the past trends, the overall qualifying percentage has increased from 17.76% to 19.36%. GATE 2025 Civil Engineering Marking Scheme

The GATE 2025 Civil Engineering exam will award negative markings for each incorrect MCQ. However, the marks deducted will be different for different questions. The deduction score is based on the mark weightage of the particular MCQ. Read the following table to understand the GATE 2025 Civil Engineering marking scheme:-

As per the eligibility criteria set by the JNTUH authority, to be eligible as a local candidate for the TS EAMCET, all students are required to have completed their 10+2 level education from the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana.
