The HP TET 2024 notification for the November session was released on September 26, 2024, on the official website at hpbose.org. The last date to fill out the HP TET 2024 (Nov) application form is till October 18, 2024. The exam dates are slated to be held on  November 15, 17, 24 and 26, 2024. 

HP TET 2024

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has issued a notification for the November session of the Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET), on the official website at hpbose.org. Candidates can apply online through the official website. As per the notification, the deadline to submit HP TET 2024 applications without a late fee is October 18, 2024. The written exam for the HP TET November 2024 session, covering various subjects/posts, is scheduled to take place on November 15, 17, 24, and 26, 2024, across the state. According to the official notification, candidates can submit their HP TET 2024 applications without a late fee until October 18, 2024. For those who miss this deadline, applications will still be accepted with a late fee of INR 600 until October 21, 2024. The direct link to access the HPTET 2024 application form is provided below:

The HP TET 2024 June exams were held on June 22, June 23, July 2, and July 13, 2024. HPBOSE released the notification and application form on May 8, 2024, with the application window closing on May 31, 2024, without late fees. Applications submitted from June 1-3, 2024, incurred a late fee of INR 300. The application form correction window was open from June 4-6, 2024. Admit cards were available four days before the exam and had to be downloaded from the official website. The HPTET exam covers JBT TET, Shastri TET, TGT (Non-Medical, Arts, Medical) TET, Language Teacher TET, Punjabi, and Urdu Language Teacher. Candidates should check for updates on exam dates, admit cards, and results. The fee was INR 800 for General and INR 500 for OBC, ST, SC, and PHH categories.

HP TET 2024: Results

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) will announce the HP TET 2024 results for the November session in February 2025. The exams will be held on November 15, 17, 24, and 26, 2024. Results will be available in PDF format on the official website, hpbose.org. No hard copies or mark sheets will be sent to candidates by any other means. To download the HP TET 2024 result, candidates can follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Visit the government website where HPTET results are announced, i.e. www.hpbose.org .
Step 2: Navigate through the homepage and click on the ‘TET’ option.
Step 3: You will be redirected to a login window with the title ‘Results for Teacher Eligibility Test TET June 2024 Result’.
Step 4: Enter either the application number or roll number and click on 'Search'.
Step 5: The Himachal Pradesh TET June 2024 result will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download the HPTET 2024 June result for future reference.

The result includes important information related to the total number of marks that are taken into account by the applicants through the entrance examination and the cut-off marks will also be released by the organization through which the applicants can check whether or not they will be able to get a job in the government schools and Organisation of the Himachal Pradesh state.

HP TET 2024: Answer Key

Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education released the answer key for the HP Teacher Eligibility Test for the June Cycle in August 2024.  The students can now download the answer key by visiting the official website of the organization and they will be able to click on the latest link to download the answer key. Students will provided the flexibility to raise their objections against the answer key for a designated time. The students can check out the information related to the correct answer that needs to be written in the answer sheet by downloading the answer key according to the subjects that they have chosen in the entrance exam. Downloading the answer key is a great way to check out the total number of marks that you will be getting in the entrance examination and you will also be able to know whether or not you will be able to pass the entrance examination.

HP TET 2024: Cutoff

Factors Affecting the HPTET Cut-Off Marks

HPBOSE releases the HPTET cut-off marks. If the marks secured by a candidate matches the cut off, they are selected. The board fixes these cut-off marks by keeping certain factors in mind. HP TET 2024: Selection Process

The written test is the only stage of the HP TET selection procedure. Based on the results of the written test, candidates will be chosen for the HP TET 2024 recruiting. The HP TET 2024 official notification makes no mention of any additional requirements. All of the chosen candidates will be called to participate in the recruiting process's document verification. The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education oversees this procedure to advance the teacher hiring procedure. To complete the verification procedure, candidates must submit the following documents at the time of the selection process.

  • Scorecard of HP TET
  • Marks sheet of qualifying examination
  • Community certificate (In case of SC/ ST only)
  • HP TET 2024 Admit card
  • Nativity Certificate

Himachal Pradesh TET Certificate Validity

Initially, the HP TET certificate used to be valid for 7 years after the HP TET results were announced. But now, the HPTET certificate comes with a lifetime validity. Within one month of the date, the results are released. Candidates who pass the exam will receive their certificates. The official website will be where candidates may download their certificates. It will include all the relevant details.

How to Register for the HP TET 2024 Online?

In order to apply for the HP TET exam, candidates must adhere to the instructions listed below. Candidates can either apply directly online or by following the instructions below:

Step 1: Fill out an online application

  • To apply for HP TET, go to the HPBOSE website and choose the appropriate link.
  • Start by selecting the exam subject you want to take, such as TGT (Medical), TGT (Arts), etc.
  • Enter correct information such as name, DOB, contact information, etc.
  • Your category and subcategory should be entered. The candidate must have the necessary documentation in the form of documents.
  • After choosing the genuine status (Himachali or not), input the district and subdivision of your selected exam center.

Step 2: Upload Documents

  • A scanned copy of the candidates' most recent photo and signature must be uploaded. It must be done on blank white paper.
  • The photo must be 20 kb, and the signature cannot be larger than 15 kilobytes.

Step 3: Online Payment of Fees

  • Candidates can use a debit card, credit card, or net banking to pay their application fees through the online payment gateway. There is no other accepted method of fee payment.
  • The students from General and sub-categories have to INR 800 and SC/St/OBC/PHH have to pay INR 500.

Step 4: Verification and Printing

  • The candidates must double-check all the information they have provided before submitting.
  • Verify all the information, then check the declaration box and send your form.
  • The confirmation document must be printed by the candidates for their records.

Requirements for Applying for HP TET

The applicant will have to submit and have the following information with them when they are applying for the HP TET exam:
  • A legitimate and active email address. The email ID must be active at least until the results are announced, and the candidates are informed.
  • The phone number should be in use. Both SMS and email will be used to inform students of any crucial exam-related updates or notices.
  • Net Banking Account or Debit/Credit Card: Since the application cost can only be paid online, the candidates need to have a way to make payments online.

HP TET Notification Application Guidelines

Read out the HP TET Application Form Guidelines. Go through the instructions to fill out the HP TET Application Form easily. Understand the instructions and follow them to apply carefully.

  • Visit the official website of HPBOSE and click on the ‘New Candidate Register’.
  • HP TET Online Application will appear. Fill out the required information such as the Name of the Applicant, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Subjects Appearing for, Nationality, Mobile Number, Email ID and so on.
  • Upload the candidate’s photographs and signatures.
  • Also, provide the required documents in the HPTET Online Application.
  • Make the payment of HP TET application fees through Internet Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
  • Finally, you will get a confirmation and the candidates must review the HP TET Online Application Form.
  • Ensuring all the details are accurate, they can submit the HP TET Online Application Form.

Note: Applications that are incomplete will be rejected, thus candidates must complete all required fields and double-check their accuracy. It is highly recommended to submit your online application well in advance of the deadline. Inconveniences that arise at the last minute, such as server problems, are not the Board's fault.

HP TET Eligibility Criteria

In the table below, the HP TET Eligibility Criteria are detailed. The following table must be reviewed by the applicants to confirm their eligibility for the HP TET exam. A candidate will be rejected if they do not meet the HP TET Eligibility Criteria. Before completing their HP TET Application Form, applicants should carefully review the HP TET Eligibility Criteria for all of the positions/subjects they are applying for.

The applicant must have completed his/her 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum score of 50 percent and a degree of the four-year course of B.El.Ed. (Bachelor in Elementary Education).

TGT (Non-Medical)

The applicant must have completed his/her graduation with a degree in B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) (Non-Medical) with a minimum score of 50 percent and a year-long B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education).

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her 10+2 or an equivalent qualification with a minimum score of 50 percent and have a degree of the four years long Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or B.Sc. (NM Ed.)

TGT (Medical)

The applicant must have completed his/her graduation with a degree in B.Sc. (Medical) with at least a score of 50 percent and a one-year-long B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education).

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her 10+2 or an equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks and a four years-long course of Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) or the course of B.Sc. (Medical Ed.).

Shastri

The applicant must have studied Shastri with at least 50 percent marks from an awarding body that is also duly recognized by the Himachal Pradesh Government.

Language Teacher (Urdu/ Hindi/ Punjabi)

The applicant must have completed his/her graduation with a degree in B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) with Hindi/ Punjabi/ Urdu/ as an elective subject and either a two years Diploma in Elementary Education or a one-year B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education).

OR

The applicant must have completed his/her post-graduation with the degree of M.A. (Masters in Arts) in Urdu/ Hindi/ Punjabi with at least a score of 50 percent from a recognized University and one year-long B.Ed.

Junior Basic Training (JBT)

The applicant must have completed his/her 10+2 with a minimum of 50 percent marks, and a two years Junior Basic Training certificate from a duly recognized Awarding Body.

OR

The applicant must have a one-year Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

The applicant must have completed a two years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).

  • There is no upper age limit that is specified by the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education to apply for HP TET.
  • Relaxation up to 5 percent in the minimum scores required in the qualifying examination and also in the qualifying score of HP TET is given to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories (ST/ SC/ OBC/ PWD).
  • Candidates who are pursuing any of the listed teacher training programs in the final year (also recognized by NCTE/ RCI) are eligible to apply for HP TET 2024 as well.

HP TET Exam Pattern

The HP TET exam is conducted offline through the pen and paper method. There will be different exams for different subjects. However, the pattern for the exams of all the subjects for HP TET will be the same. The paper will have multiple-choice type questions and there will be four options for answers to every question. The HP TET exams will be completely objective exams. The details of the HP TET examination along with its pattern are given below.

The syllabus of the HP TET exam differs for each subject. The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has updated the syllabus so as to keep it in sync with the latest developments in the educational sector. HP TET 2024: Admit Card

The HP TET Hall Ticket 2024 for the June cycle was released by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) on the official website four days before the exam. Candidates who filled out the application form can download it using their application number and date of birth. To download the HP TET 2024 Hall Ticket, students are required to enter their login ID and date of birth. Candidates must ensure the information on the admit card is correct. They are required to carry it for both Papers 1 and 2. The steps to download the HP TET admit card 2024 are provided below:

  • Open the official website of HPTET - hpbose.org.
  • Look for the notification section on the home page.
  • Find the Notification for 'HPTET Admit Card 2024' and click on it.
  • After clicking on the link, a new page will open where candidates will be asked to enter their login details such as registration number and date of birth, etc.
  • Enter the details correctly and click on the submit button.

HP TET Salary

Generally, The pay scale for the HP TET Exam varies from one scale to the next. The typical wage range for HPTET-certified primary school teachers is between Rs 35,000 and Rs 37,000. Similarly, an upper-primary school teacher earns between Rs 43,000 and 46,000 per month. Additionally, they will be given allowances based on their status.
