Candidates are required to fill in the following details in the GATE 2025 registration form:-Full name (must match exactly with the valid photo ID presented during the GATE 2025 exam)
Date of birth
Personal mobile number
Parents' names and mobile numbers (do not use prefixes or titles like Mr, Shri, Dr, Mrs, Smt, Prof, Capt, Maj, Lt, Col, Er, or Ar.)
Complete address including PIN code
Information about your degree qualifications
The specific GATE paper(s) you wish to appear for
Three preferred GATE examination cities (within the same zone)
Net-banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI information for fee payment

The face must be clear, without any obstructions like cloth, hats, sunglasses, etc., except for religious reasons
The signature should be in black or dark blue ink.
Size: 1 cm width × 2.75 cm height to 1 cm width × 3.75 cm height.
File size: 3 KB to 1 MB.
Format: JPG/JPEG.
Pixel resolution: 250 x 80 to 580 x 180 pixels.
Ensure the uploaded signature matches the one used during the examination to avoid disqualification.

Educational Degree Certificate Requirement:
Upload details of your Educational Degree Certificate, Provisional Certificate, or a Certificate from the Head of the Department/Institute.

Photo Identity Document Requirement :
Aadhaar-UID, Aadhaar Virtual ID, Government ID, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving License.
Bring the original ID along with the admit card to the examination center.

PwD Certificate Requirement:
Provide a recent and government-authorized PwD category certificate.
Benefits are available for candidates with a benchmark disability of at least 40% impairment, regardless of the type of disability.
