JEE Main 2025 Exam Timings
The Session 2 of the JEE Main 2025 exam is conducted from April 2 to 9, 2025. which is held in two shifts of 3 hours each. The first shift is held from 9:00 am to 12:00 PM and the second shift is conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Document Required on JEE Main 2025 Exam Day
You are required to carry the important documents on the JEE Main 2025 exam day to avoid any last-minute hassle. The most common reason for candidates being denied entry into the entrance exam halls is because of incorrect documents. The following documents should be carried by you at the JEE Main 2025 exam centres.

PwD/PwBD Certificate | Claiming relaxation under the PwD/PwBD category must come with a certificate issued by an authorized medical officer or as per annexures provided in the Information Bulletin. For those with physical limitations requiring assistance during the JEE Main exam, a valid certificate must be provided for verification purposes. |

Prohibited Items on the JEE Main Exam Day
Specific items are strictly prohibited inside the JEE Main 2025 examination hall. Make sure that you do not carry any of the following items.
- Stationary items: Do not carry any stationery including pen, paper, pencil, textual material (printed or written material)pencil box, geometry box etc. Pen/ Pencil and blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided by the invigilator in the examination room.
- Identity Cards: ID cards issued by the schools/ colleges/ universities/coaching centres will not be considered as a valid ID. Even photocopies or images stored on mobile phones will not be accepted. Hence, do not carry any of these.
- Eatables: Refrain from carrying eatables (loose or packed) and water inside the JEE Main 2025 exam hall. These will not be permitted.
- Electronics/Gadgets: Any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices will not be permitted in the JEE Main exam hall. This comprises Mobile Phone, Microphone, Ear Phone, Pager, Calculator, Slide Rules, DocuPen, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder etc. You will also not be allowed to wear/carry any type of watch including Electronic Watches with the facilities of a calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the JEE Main Examination Hall/Room.
- Handbags: You are not allowed to carry any kind of handbag or purse.

The National Testing Agency has set a dress code for the JEE Main 2025 exam. The JEE Main Dress Code 2025 is decided to ensure a fair and smooth operation of the exam process. The following guidelines must be followed by you related to the JEE Main 2025 dress code:
- Wear light and comfortable clothing which does have large buttons, badges, or thick fabrics.
- Sleeveless and transparent clothing is not permitted to be worn in the JEE Main exam hall.
- Full-sleeve t-shirts/shirts in case worn, should be thin and lightweight.
- Wear simple sandals or slippers without thick soles. Shoes with large heels, platforms, or belts should be avoided.
- No jewellery or metallic accessories (such as rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc.) are permitted inside the JEE Main 2025 examination hall.
- Do not wear caps or hats during the JEE Main examination.
- Wear face masks according to the safety protocols.
