Jawaharlal Nehru University UG Application Process 2025
The application process for the Jawaharlal Nehru University UG Admission 2025 through CUET is very simple and hassle-free. The university has instructed the candidates to follow the NTA guidelines regarding filling up the CUET application form 2025 . The university does not allow any offline mode of application. The online procedure for application is described below:
Step 1: Visit https://cuet.samarth.ac.in and register.
Step 2: Click on the Register button and enter the required details like valid mobile no. and email id and create a password.
Step 3: After the successful registration is done, an application number is provided to the candidates’ email id which candidates can use as the login details.
Step 4: Provide the login details and proceed with the application process.
Step 5: Personal information, academic qualifications, address details, test centres, courses and universities must be selected by the candidates.
Step 6: Upload the scanned photograph, signatures, and category certificates (if required) by the guidelines mentioned by NTA.
Step 7 : Review the data provided and ensure they are correct in all aspects.
Step 8: Ensure all the documents asked for are uploaded.
Step 9: On the completion of the form fill up, CUET 2025 application fees need to be paid through online mode. Credit card/ debit card/internet banking is allowed for fee payment.
Step 10: Take the printout of the system-generated confirmation page for future reference.

Important Instructions for JNU UG Application Process
- Candidates who are due appear in their qualifying examination are also allowed to apply for the CUET (UG). But they will have to obtain the percentage of marks already prescribed. The university has also made it clear that these candidates will have to submit the necessary documents along with the final year result in support of their candidature.
- The candidates must meet the eligibility criteria mentioned by the university for the particular programme he/she is applying for. If a candidate appears in the test without meeting the eligibility criteria or at any stage of the admission process it is found that the criteria are not satisfied by the candidates, the admission will get cancelled.
- If the university grants the registration or admission of a candidate by accepting the Undertaking for Migration Certificate, the candidate has to submit the same document within the prescribed date. If he/she fails to do so, the admission shall get cancelled.
- The university will not entertain any request for a change of category once the application form is submitted.
- A candidate can select up to three fields of study from the same programme.
- According to the university rules, the outstation students will be granted hostel accommodation and that would be subject to the accommodation availability.
- Candidates qualified in a particular language or subject shall not be allowed to get admission to the same programme again.
- Candidates successfully qualified in the higher programme of study are not allowed to apply for a lower programme of study.
- Options once opted cannot be changed later. The university will consider the preferences opted by the candidates during the application process as final.
- In case of more than one form for the same programme is submitted, the entire candidature and the forms will get rejected.
- The candidate’s name, date of birth and parent’s name must be the same as in the class 10 certificate/ pre-university examination certificate.
- Candidates will not be permitted to get employment while pursuing a full-time programme at the university.
- Information provided in the CUET application form 2025 must be valid. If any information is found to be false at any stage of the admission, the candidature will get cancelled.
- Candidates must check the documents required to fill CUET 2025 application form .
Jawaharlal Nehru University UG Admission through CUET Admit Card 2025
CUET admit card 2025 will be published by NTA. The admit card will have important details like the candidate’s name, roll number, date of birth, gender, examination centre, medium, category, city, subject group etc. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official site of NTA. They must carry the CUET admit card 2025 on the date of examination.
Jawaharlal Nehru University UG Admission Process 2025
Like all the other central universities, the Jawaharlal Nehru University will also select the candidates on their end once NTA releases the scorecard. The candidates will be selected depending on the following factors:
- CUET 2025 scores secured by the candidates
- Programme wise eligibility criteria satisfied by the candidates
- Deprivation points
- Seat availability
Selected candidates need to block their seats. University will provide an offer letter to the selected candidates. All the instructions regarding seat confirmation will be mentioned there. Candidates are advised to strictly follow the instructions to avoid cancellation of admission. They will need to upload the prescribed documents and pay the fees at the time of seat confirmation. No other method except the online mode is available for seat confirmation and fee payment. While selecting the candidates the reservation and relaxation policy of the Govt. of India will be considered by the university.

Documents Required for JNU UG Admission 2025
The below-mentioned certificates and documents will be required during the Jawaharlal Nehru University UG admission process 2025:
- Enrolment form
- Candidates’ recent passport size photograph (5 copies)
- Migration Certificate from the last attended institution
- 2 Anti-ragging affidavits
- A character certificate given by the Head of the last attended institution.
- Central Library Application form
- 2 sets of self-attested copies of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, Indian School Certificate/Senior School Certificate (10+2)/ certificate of an equivalent examination showing the age/DOB of the candidates.
- Discontinuation certificate in case the candidate is studying in some other university/institution.
