The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) was earlier known as the National Institute of Training in Industrial Engineering. It was established by the Government of India in 1963 and is one of the oldest and top business schools in India. NITIE has been ranked 12th by NIRF in the 2021 list of Management institutes. NITIE Selection Process 2022

In the first round, candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT scores. Only the candidates who clear the above-mentioned cutoff for each category will be called for Phase 2

Candidates who will be shortlisted will be called for a Personal Interview to evaluate their interpersonal skills

Candidates will have to clear the GATE cutoff set by the institute to be shortlisted in this round

Having cleared the first phase, candidates are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview

NITIE also offers Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE) and a Fellow Programme. Since PGDIE is a technical diploma, admissions to the program are done based on the GATE score. The selection process and the cutoff requirement for PGDIE are similar to that of PGDMM and PGDPM. However, candidates must be aware of the fact that PGDIE is not a management program.
