The first year corresponds to required core courses taught in 380 lessons, of which about 30 hours are focused on a one-week on-campus module held at the IIM Kozhikode campus. At the same time, the remainder is delivered through lectures and seminars through the Interactive Learning (IL) platform. The program's second year is divided into three quarters. The second year of the program includes optional courses from several academic disciplines. Students must select optional courses totaling 28 credits (all three quarters combined) from a bouquet of courses from all academic areas to cover 280 hours of training. The second year of the curriculum would include mandatory graduate classes such as Management and Corporate Accountability, Global Business, and others.

The head office is at Kunnamangalam, a district of Kozhikode (formerly known as Calicut), Kerala. Kozhikode is Kerala's second-largest city. The campus is spread out over two hills in the Western Ghats. The site provides residential amenities for students, professors, and guests in addition to classrooms. The school has 17 hostels to house the approximately 900 students prepared to participate on-site. The school, which is spread across 111 acres of land, relies on rainwater gathering as its primary water supply. Hostel P and Hostel Q have recently opened and have been active since the academic year 2018, while Hostel N will open in 2019.

Classrooms:

IIMKs are created in such a way that they will provide a suitable atmosphere for appropriate learning. We at IIMK actively employ tools for Technology Enhanced Learning, and as a result, all classes at IIMK are outfitted with all of the current teaching aids required to facilitate this. Computers, multimedia projectors and motorised displays, OHPs, Wireless Presenters, and other audio-visual equipment are used in classrooms to make learning as dynamic as feasible.

Hostels:

The hostel is within walking distance of the classrooms, computer centre, restaurant, and all other amenities. Students are assigned single or double occupancy rooms. Every hostel has a television and a washing machine. Each hostel has a phone that may be used to make STD/ISD calls.

Table tennis, badminton, carrom, chess, and other activities are also available in the hostels. Other amenities include a gymnasium and basic medical services. To accommodate guests, all hostel rooms include a LAN connection.

There are two auditoriums with seating capacities of around 250 and 400 people, respectively. Students have access to a variety of sporting facilities, both indoor and outdoor. Indoor activities such as table tennis, carrom, and chess are available in all hostels. Aside from these, the institute provides enough area for outdoor activities such as badminton, basket ball, football, and cricket. Properly kept grounds guarantee that there is always enough area for students to play.

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode was established in 1997. IIM Kozhikode shifted to its new campus in January 2003. The IIM Kozhikode campus is situated on two hillocks in the Kunnamangalam area of the ancient city of Calicut in Kerala, India. The IIM Kozhikode campus is spread over 112.5 acres of land with almost 356 students and 67 administrative staff.
