List of Documents Required to Register for JEE Advanced 2025

The candidates need to keep all the documents for JEE Advanced 2025 Registration Form. The list of documents required for JEE Advanced Application Form 2025 is as follows:

For All candidates

  • Class 10th certificate consisting of candidate's date of birth (can also submit birth certificate).

  • Class 12th or equivalent examination certificate (for the candidates who have passed the qualifying exam in the current year). If the mark sheet/ pass certificate of the qualifying exam is available then it must be uploaded.

  • If the name of the candidate is not the same as given in the Class 10th / birth certificate, a gazette notification showing the change of name must be submitted.

For Admission Under the GEN-EWS category

  • GEN-EWS certificate that should have been issued by the competent authority on or after April 01 of the current year, complying with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.

  • The candidates need to upload a declaration if they fail to submit the certificate at the time of filling the application form.

For Admission Under the OBC-NCL category

  • OBC-NCL certificate that should have been issued by the competent authority on or after April 01 of the current year, complying with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.

  • The candidates need to upload a declaration if they fail to submit the certificate at the time of filling the application form.

For Admission Under the SC or ST category

  • Caste Certificate that should have been issued by the competent authority on or after April 01 of the current year, complying with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.

For Admission Under the PwD category

  • Physical Disability certificate that should have been issued by the competent medical authority.

  • The FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 must be submitted by the candidates under the Dyslexia category which must show "Severe" remarks under the category. Only then the candidates will be eligible for PwD category benefits.

For compensatory time

  • The candidates must submit a letter to the Chairman of the nearest Zonal Coordinating IIT through the compensatory time form and the Disability Certificate (copy).

For Scribe Services

  • The candidates must submit a request letter to the Chairman of the nearest Zonal coordinating IIT through the Scribe form.

For Admission Under the DS category

  • A certificate must be submitted that should have been issued by the Armed Forces Personnel record offices.

For Students Whose Class 12th Examination Board is Outside India or Not Listed

  • The students must submit a certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities to showcase that the exam qualified by the candidate is equivalent to the Class 12th examination.

Important Note: If it is found that a candidate has submitted the wrong document or does not have the required documents, the candidate will be excluded from the process of evaluation, ranking, and admission. In case such a candidate has already been admitted to any IIT, the admission of the candidate will be canceled.

Step 1: Complete JEE Advanced 2025 Registration

Visit the official website - jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates must first use their JEE Main login ID and password to access the JEE Advanced 2025 registration platform. All of the contact, academic, and personal information provided in the JEE Main 2025 application form will be visible on the screen after a successful login.

Applicants will have the option to give a backup phone number and email address. For the JEE Advanced test, students also needed to provide other information such as their class XII (or equivalent) examination roll number, their choice of eight exam cities, and many other facts.

Step 2: Uploading Documents
Applicants must upload the documents that the relevant authorities have indicated in the next step. Keep in mind that all papers must be uploaded by the guidelines.

What is the registration fee for JEE Advanced 2025?

Candidates applying for the specified program fall into different categories based on nationality and gender. Indian nationals who are female and fall into SC, ST, and PwD categories are required to pay INR 1600 for the application fee. This fee also applies to Indian nationals falling under the SC, ST, and PwD categories. However, all other Indian nationals are subject to a higher application fee of INR 3200. For foreign nationals, those from SAARC countries are charged USD 100, while those from non-SAARC countries have to pay USD 200.
