SRMJEEE Remote Proctored Online Mode Exam 2024: SRM University will conduct the SRMJEEE 2024 exam from April 20 to 22, 2024 for Phase 1. The mode of the exam is Remote Proctored Online Mode (RPOM) Examination, which means that the applicants can take the SRMJEEE 2024 exam from home by using a Computer/ Laptop/ Mobile Phone. However, the candidates will need to download SEB (Safe Examination Browser) to take the test. Candidate should have a desktop/ laptop with a minimum of 1GB RAM and a web camera & microphone. Applicants using mobile phones to take the exam must be aware that an Internet Pack (2 GB suggested) is necessary. The candidate will get the link to attempt SRMJEEE 2024 RPOM on their E-Mail ID/ Mobile Number on the exam day. What is Remote Proctored Online Mode (RPOM) Examination?

Remote Proctored Online Mode (RPOM) Examination is a process where the test takers are allowed to take the exam from home. The exam authority specifies the number of slots and timings for the same, and the candidates will need to book the slots at their convenience. However, the candidates should have a minimum of 512 kbps speed internet to take the test without inconvenience.

Requirements for SRMJEEE 2024 RPOM Exam

As the test-takers will be required to take the entrance exam from home, the candidates must make sure about the convenience of set-up and other configurations. They should maintain ethics, discipline and remote exam place discipline. Go through the following instructions:

  • The candidates will need to download and install Safe Exam Browser (SEB) on their Laptop/ Desktop to take the test

  • Make sure a Pentium IV/ Dual Core, 1 GB RAM or higher, 15" colour monitor, 80 GB HDD or higher, Keyboard, Mouse, Webcam and Microphone should be attached

  • Installation of Microsoft Windows 10 is required in case of opting RPOM

Internet connection
  • A stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 512 kbps

Mobile phobne
  • Candidates using a Mobile Phone to take the exam must note that Internet Pack (2 GB preferred) is mandatory. Also, the mobile should have a front camera.

  • The test-takers will need to download software on their mobile to take the rest, and the link to download the same will be available on the SRM University website 1-2 days before the exam

How to Take SRMJEEE 2024 RPOM Exam?

The candidates will need to follow the simple steps mentioned below to take the SRMJEEE exam. The applicants must note that appearing for two mock tests is mandatory to appear for the actual exam. The dates and slots of mock tests and actual exam have already been notified, and the slot booking can be done accordingly.

Step 1 - Download the Admit Card immediately after the slot booking

Step 2 - It is advisable to log in at least 60 minutes before the exam for pre-verification

Step 3 - The link to take SRMJEEE 2024 RPOM will be sent to the candidate’s E-Mail ID/ Mobile Number on the day of the exam

Step 4 - The candidates will need to click on the link and log in with details that are available on the SRMJEEE 2024 Admit Card

Step 5 - Make sure that the front camera/ web camera of the mobile/ laptop/ desktop is working properly

Step 6 - The pre-verification will begin 60 minutes before the exam where the photograph of the candidates shall be captured automatically

Step 7 - The test-takers will need to show his/ her ID Proof (Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card/ Ration Card) through the front camera, and the proctor will verify the same

SRMJEEE 2024 Exam Day Instructions for Proctored Test

Candidates appearing for the SRMJEEE 2024 Remote Proctored Online Mode (RPOM) Examination will need to follow the given instructions on the day of the exam -

  •  Candidates who have taken the remote mock test using SEB will only be scheduled for the main exam

  • While taking mock test, their login details can be captured which can be used for the main examination

  • Candidates have to log in to the test using details in the admit card (Password)

  • The main examination will be of 150 minutes. The candidates are expected to log in at least 60 minutes before the test to take a photograph of themselves and ID proof and to read instructions

  • Candidates will not be allowed to end the test whether the candidate completes the test or quits the test for the first 120 minutes from the scheduled start of the test

  • Only one question appears on the screen and either the candidate answers the question or skips the same if he/she does not know the answer or does not want to answer. Once moved to the next question, the candidate cannot come back to the answered/skipped questions

SRMJEEE Admit Card 2024

SRM University has issued the SRMJEEE 2024 admit card at srmist.edu.in. After completing the SRM slot booking process via the Online Test Booking System, candidates can able to download their SRMJEEE admit card 2024. Only those applicants who register for SRMJEEE 2024 before the deadline will receive SRM Joint Entrance Examination hall passes. The admit card 2024 contains information for the candidates, including the test day, time, and location. Candidates must bring their SRMJEEE 2024 admit card to the exam location. The admit card is an important document that a candidate should keep safe throughout the exam.
