The TS TET 2025 Exam was conducted on January 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 18, 19 and 20, 2025.  The TS TET Notification 2025 PDF was released by the DSE, Government of Telangana on the official website at schooledu.telangana.gov.in/ including the exam structure, exam pattern, syllabus, application process, dates, eligibility criteria etc. Candidates are advised to go through the detailed notification before submitting the application forms.

The TS TET 2025 result was released along with the final answer key on the official website on February 5, 2025. Students check their results using login details including the hall ticket number and exam paper name. The Telangana State Teaching Eligibility Test (TS TET) is a state-level examination that is conducted to recruit educators for classes I to VIII in various educational institutions including State Government schools, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad Schools, Private Aided Schools, and Private Unaided Schools within the state of Telangana.

The Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) requires minimum passing marks of 60% for General candidates, 50% for Backward Classes (BC), and 40% for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Differently Abled individuals (PH).

The TS TET exam is organized into two shifts and consists of two papers: Paper-I, designated for those aspiring to teach classes I to V, and Paper-II, for those intending to teach classes VI to VIII. Each paper comprised Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question carrying a value of one mark, and four options provided for each question, of which only one was correct. There was no provision for negative marking for incorrect responses.

TS TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the TS TET 2025 exam, candidates must have a BEd/ DEd/ Language Pandit or similar qualification. TS TET scores are given 20% weightage in state-run teacher recruitment exams, while the Teacher Recruitment Exam is given 80% weightage (TRT).

There is no limit to how many times a candidate can attempt to obtain a TS TET certificate. "A person who has qualified in the TET examination may also appear again to enhance his/her score," according to the official website. The following are the eligibility criteria for Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the TS TET:

TS TET Paper 1 Eligibility Criteria (Classes 1 to 5)

To meet the TS TET 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates applying for Paper 1 must meet one of the following criteria.

  • Students must have completed Class XII or an equivalent course with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates).
  • Candidates must have completed a two-year elementary education diploma, a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed), or a two-year education diploma (special education).
    Or
  • Students must have completed Class XII or equivalent with a minimum aggregate score of 45 percent (40 percent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates).
  • Candidates must have completed a two-year elementary education diploma/ a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed), or a two-year education diploma (special education). This eligibility requirement is only valid for candidates who passed or were admitted to D El Ed/ D Ed before the TS TET 2025 notice was released.

TS TET Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria (Classes 6 to 8)

To meet the TS TET 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates applying for Paper 2 must meet one of the following criteria.

  • Students must have completed a BA/ BSc/ BCom with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates).
  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd) or Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree (B Ed- Special Education).
    Or
  • Candidates must have completed their BA/ BSc/ BCom with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40 percent aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates).
  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd) or Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree (B Ed- Special Education). This qualifying requirement applies solely to candidates who passed or were accepted into the BEd program before the publication of TS TET 2025 rules.
    Or
  • Candidates must have completed a four-year BA Ed/BSc Ed program with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates).
    Or
  • Students must have completed a four-year BA Ed/BSc Ed program with a minimum of 50% overall (45% overall for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD candidates).

TS TET Vacancy 2025

The administration has not yet made public the number of vacancies for teacher recruitment through TS TET for the year 2025. An estimation can be produced based on the vacancies from the prior year, which can provide candidates with some insight prior to the exam.

TS TET 2025 Application Form

The steps to apply and fill out the TS TET 2025 application form are mentioned below:

  • To fill Telangana TET 2025 application form, go to the Telangana government, Department of School Education's official website.
  • Before you begin filling out the form, read all of the details carefully. Only online applications are accepted.
  • Create a profile on the portal using your relevant email address before collecting application forms using the online mode.
  • Fill in all of your educational information, including your grades from previous exams.
  • Then, in the format specified, upload scanned pictures and signatures.
  • Submit the application form.

TS TET 2025 Application Fees

The application fee for the TS TET examination is INR 300 for each candidate, irrespective of any reserved quota. Everyone has to pay a fee of INR 300, and the amount can be paid online. Students can choose any of the modes of transaction such as credit card/debit card or net banking.

TS TET 2025 Admit Card

The TS TET 2025 Admit Card was released on the official website of TS TET on December 26, 2025. Candidates can now download their TS TET 2025 admit card from the official website according to the Schedule. Candidates must complete the steps mentioned below to download their admit card.

  • Go to the TS TET Official Website
  • Select the option ‘’download Hall Ticket’’
  • Enter Candidate ID and Date of Birth
  • Click on the Submit.

The admit card for TS TET 2025 will displayed on the screen. After downloading the admit card, candidates must check for any discrepancies in information (such as the candidate's name, photograph, signature, and so on) and promptly submit them to the exam authorities for correction. If all of the information on the admit card is correct, candidates should take its printout and carry it to the examination centre.

TS TET 2025 Examination Centre

The TSTET 2025 examination will be conducted in all 33 districts of the state of Telangana. Candidates can choose their preference for a particular examination centre. In case seats are exhausted in a particular centre then that centre will not be displayed in the list of examination centres given in the online application form. In such cases, candidates are required to choose the Examination Centre (District) of their choice from the remaining list available.
