Maharishi University Application process

The candidate who wants to pursue admission in any course at Maharishi University can either go through online or offline process.

For Offline admission, the candidate needs to visit the campus office and reach out to admission cell. The candidate will be given a MUIT application form which they need to fill with all the required details and any documents (if asked for). Once the form is filled the admission cell will check if there are any options that are not filled. Once done, the applicant would be asked to pay a nominal fee of Rs 1,200 for submission of the form.

For online admission, the candidate needs to visit the official site of the institute and fill the admission form. The admission form would have some mandatory information which is needed and if not filled the form won't be submitted. For the final submission the candidate needs to pay a nominal fee of Rs 1,200. This can be paid via credit/debit card, net banking or through UPI option as well. Once the form is submitted the candidate will receive the acknowledgement on the e-mail or as a text message on the phone number mentioned.

If the candidate is shortlisted after submitting the application form the admission cell would reach out to the candidate via email or phone call. The admission officer would let the candidate know what all documents are required and a date on which they need to come with these required documents.

The MUIT admission cell will check the documents and if they are acceptable then the admission cell would further show the fee structure which the candidate would need to pay in order to secure the seat at Maharishi University.

The fees can be either paid by cheque, direct account transfer or through cash as well. Students who are unable to come up with the amount of the fee can ask for an extension from the admission cell.

Students who have secured scholarships would get a revised fee structure from the admission cell.

Is there a lateral entry option for Engineering at MUIT?

Maharishi University has an option for lateral entry into B.Tech courses. The eligibility criteria for the same is that the candidate should have completed their diploma course in engineering with at least 50% aggregate marks. The candidates are directly sent into the 2nd year of the B.Tech course that they choose. There is no separate entrance exam for taking the lateral entry into Engineering.

Yes, you can apply for the MBA programme at Maharishi University Lucknow. As per the admission criteria of the university, students who are in their final year of undergraduate programmes are eligible to apply for postgraduate programmes offered by the university. Hence, you are eligible to apply for MBA admissions. However, you have to submit your undergraduate degree/scores within a specified time duration once released by your university. Further, for MBA admissions at least 50% marks in undergraduate programme is required which is another aspect you have to ensure.

Maharishi University does not offer a B.Com (Honours) course. It offers only a B.Com General course. The duration of this course is 3 years and it is offered in full-time mode. Further, the course fee for B.Com is Rs 31,000 per year and the total tuition fee amounts to Rs 93,000. Apart from this, the Maharishi University fee structure for the hostel accommodation is Rs 70,000 per year for the twin-sharing rooms and Rs 60,000 per year for the triple-sharing rooms. The fee can be paid via the MUIT Online Pay Portal through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

The Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) programme at Maharishi University is of four years (eight semesters). This program's overarching goal is to teach students how to understand and increase agricultural output. It covers both theoretical and practical studies. To be eligible, you must have a 10+2 diploma in PCB/Mathematics/Agriculture with a minimum of 45% for General/OBC/PH/EWS and 40% for SC/ST. Maharishi University's B.Sc Agriculture tuition is roughly Rs 60,000 per year.
