It is a degree-level college established in 2009. Government Engineering College Godhra offers a four-year B.Tech programme in applied, civil, electronics & communication, electrical, and mechanical engineering.  GECG is established under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
