About Rai University, Ahmedabad
Rai University accepts JEE Main scores for admission to the BTech course. JEE Main 2024 session two paper one result was released by NTA on April 24, 2024. Students can use their JEE Main 2024 application number, date of birth, and security pin to download their scorecard from the NTA website. Rai University also accepts GUJCET scores for BTech admission. GUJCET final answer key is out and the result will be released by May 4, 2024 tentatively. Following the result, GUJCET counselling will start by June 2024.
Rai University was established in 2012 through the Gujarat Private Universities Act (Amendment), 2012, by the Rai Foundation. It is approved by the Government of Gujarat and the Bar Council of India (BCI). The university is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Rai University Ahmedabad was awarded as the Best Upcoming Private University by The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) in 2012.
Rai University admission is based on qualifying marks for each course or certain entrance exams for specific courses. Different entrance exams accepted for admission to Rai University courses include GUJCET, JEE Main, CAT, MAT, CMAT and CLAT. - Library – The library of Rai University Ahmedabad is quite extensive, with more than 30,000 books and international journals. The university also has a wide reading area that can accommodate more than 200 students at a time. The library is also digitized, making it easy to find any books. Students can also take e-books which they can read on their own devices. Most of the books in the library are kept in good condition, and students can borrow a book for 3 days at a time. The library also gets many newspapers which the students and teachers can refer to. There is a separate section in the library that is fully air-conditioned, and this is only available during a specific time of the day.
- Research Center – Rai University campus also has a research and development centre with modern equipment which is quite helpful for PhD candidates. This research centre is always supervised by a lab assistant who helps the students get all the required instruments at any time. The students need to pre-book the research center for their work as not more than 10 people can work simultaneously in the research center.
- Laboratories – Rai University has Laboratories for many faculties. The Law department has a Moot court, which gives a real-life court vibe, which helps the students. The School of Pharmacy, recognised by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), has a developed and modern Pharmaceutics lab and one Machine room. There are many types of equipment like vacuum pumps, capsule counters, tincture presses, colony counters, Ph meters, autoclaves, and many others. A developed computer lab helps students to code and learn networking. The mechanical engineering students have a workshop with steam boilers, power transmission, and conversion systems.
