Vivekananda Institute of Technology Jaipur B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2024

• All candidates must have scored at least 45% marks in the subject’s combination. Maths and Physics must have been studied as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science in class 12 (Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or other equivalent board). 
• In the case of SC/ST/OBC/SBC, the required percentage is 40%.

For B.Tech Lateral Entry 2024 Eligiblity Criteria (Direct Lateral Admissions to the second Year of B.Tech)

• All candidates must have at least 45% marks in diploma. In the case of SC/ST/OBC/SBC, this percentage is 40%.
• The preference order for candidates is as follows:

They must have done a diploma from the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur/ Universities in Rajasthan.

They must be residents of Rajasthan with a diploma from the Board of Technical Education Rajasthan, Jodhpur or from the Board of Technical Education in other States.

They must have been awarded diplomas by other State Boards of Technical Education and are not covered in the previous point.

VIT Jaipur B.Tech aspirants can fill the online application form under the state quota through the official website of REAP. These candidates will have to choose VIT Jaipur as the top priority in the choice filling form. Candidates can also directly apply through the official website of the college or can visit the college for direct admission. The candidates will have to pay the VIT Jaipur application fee and collect the application form for B.Tech courses.

5. This section updates the State details as per the permanent address and selects the correct district.
6. Now select the programme of choice (Whether it is a lateral entry or a regular one)
7. Select the engineering stream one is interested in.
8. Check the declaration box at the bottom and click ‘Submit’ to complete the application.

The counselling is done twice for the courses offered at the Vivekananda Institute of Engineering, as the JEE is also considered for admission. 

So, the first step is to register for the examinations, either REAP or the JEE and wait for the results. The government will announce counselling centres and counselling dates depending on the rank.
