The last date to fill the form for the UG as well as PG admission to Indian Agricultural Research Institute was June 30, 2023. Hello Saumya,

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute does not offer an M.Sc in Biotechnology course. Similar to your requirements, there is another course among the Indian Agricultural Research Institute courses which is Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. The duration of the course is 2 years and the course fee is Rs 4,000. The basic eligibility criteria for getting admission to this course include completing graduation from a recognised institution or university with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. The IARI is also known as the Pusa Institute and is India’s national institute for the domain of agriculture.

As for your query, I presume you are referring to the institute's courses. M.Tech and Ph.D courses in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Agronomy, Genetics and Plant Breeding, and Plant Genetic Resources are also available at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute. Depending on the course you want to pursue, the IARI provides a variety of alternative M.Sc, M.Tech, and Ph.D courses.

Dear Student,

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Delhi offers the Master of Science (M.Sc.) programme in a wide range of specializations.

The eligibility critieria for these programmes include a bachelor's / B.Sc degree in a related discipline.

Admissions to these programmes are granted on the basis of merit created on the marks scored in an entrance exam conducted by the education division of ICAR.

About Indian Agricultural Research Institute

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) Delhi, commonly known as Pusa Institute, is India's national institute for agriculture research, education and extension. The institute was established on April 1, 1905. It has a campus area of 500 hectares, and it is located approximately eight km west of the new Delhi railway station. It is financed and administered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

The ICAR-IARI Delhi campus provides high-quality facilities and has experienced faculties. ASRB examination centre, Phytotron facility, Pesticide Referral Laboratory, SEM facility, Library services, and Farm Machinery Testing facility are among the top-notch facilities available here.
