Annamalai University’s Faculty of Education is responsible for determining the eligibility criteria for B.Ed admissions as per NCTE norms. The eligibility criteria for the B.Ed course offered by Annamalai University is as follows –

General Eligibility Criteria: The general eligibility criteria of Annamalai University for the B.Ed course is as follows –

• The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
• B.Tech graduates can also register for the Annamalai University B.Ed course.

M.Ed course offered by Annamalai University is of two-year duration, and the course is offered in English medium. The aspirants must satisfy the below eligibility criteria to seek admission in the M.Ed course of Annamalai University –

• Candidates who have passed B.A. B.Ed/ B.Sc. B.Ed/ B.Ed with a minimum of 50% of marks are eligible for M.Ed admission at Annamalai University. Candidates with PG or Master’s qualification shall be given more preference in the selection process.

Step 1

• The candidates must complete the online application through the official website of Annamalai University.
• Open the official website of Annamalai University and click on the link that indicates ‘Admissions – On Campus’
• A new page pertaining to admissions will open
• Click on the ‘Applications – Online’ option
• Under the above option, click on ‘B.Ed/ M.Ed’
• The official B.Ed/ M.Ed application portal of Annamalai University will open

• Enter the SSLC/ Equivalent Hall Ticket Number to confirm your details

The admission procedure for Annamalai University B.Ed admission is as follows –

Rank List Preparation: The percentage of marks secured by the applicants in the qualifying exams (UG) shall be taken into consideration for preparing Annamalai University B.Ed Rank List. Candidates with a higher degree apart from UG will have a special preference in the preparation of the rank list. Candidates with NCC/ NSS/ Sports Certificate will also have a special preference in the selection process.
