Assam University (AUS) is a central government university that was established in 1994. Right after the enactment of the Assam (Central) University Act in 1989, the university was established. Assam University has been accredited B+ grade by NAAC. The campus of Assam University is spread over 600 acres and provides an ideal setting for researchers, students, and staff. NIRF 2021 ranked the university 93rd in the university category with a score of 39.21/100. Since the university is a central one, it has a few international students studying various courses.
Assam University offers various courses in undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and Diploma to its students. Assam University 2022 Application Form
Depending on the program you are applying for in a 2022-23 session, Assam University will offer an online application form. Undergraduate (UG) applications can be submitted online. The application form will be released by the official authorities on the official website.
In addition, engineering courses application forms are expected to be available in the month of June 2022. Interested applicants can fill in the required details as per the guidelines in the application form and submit it for the admission process.
Applicants can adhere to the following mentioned steps below for Assam University 2022 application form:
Step 1: Candidates can log in to the official website and open the ‘Application Form’.
Step 2: Candidates can start filling in the required personal and academic details asked in the application form.
Step 3: Candidates are advised to go through the information filled in the form before clicking on the ‘Submit button’.
Step 4: Candidates will have to upload and submit their scanned photographs & signatures in defined size and in jpg/ jpeg format.
Step 5: After submitting all the required information and valid documents, candidates can proceed with the fee payment option via given modes of payment.
Step 6: Once the payment is done then candidates can further submit the application form and are advised to take the printout of the filled application form for future references.
Assam University 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for Assam University UG Admission 2022:
Qualification: | Applicants must have cleared their 10+2 intermediate or equivalent examination from any recognized board/institution. For B. Pharm: It is mandatory for applicants to have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology as main subjects both in theory and practical. For BA / LLB: It is mandatory for applicants to have 45% in English subject, separately. For B. Tech: It is mandatory for applicants to have PCM as the main subject. |
Marks: | Applicants must have secured at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST category) in their qualifying examination to be eligible for admission. For B. Tech: Applicants must have secured at least 60% marks. |
Scores: | For B. Pharm: Score secured in written exam and interview conducted by the university is mandatory. For B. Tech: Applicants must have JEE MAIN scores to be eligible for admission. |

Assam University 2022 Entrance Exam
For UG courses admission, there is an Entrance Examination for B. Tech and B. Pharm. Admissions will be offered based on the score secured in JEE Main 2022 for B. Tech and For B. Pharm written exam and interviews conducted by the university will be accepted.
Assam University 2022 Merit List
The admission to UG and IG courses will be conducted based on the score secured in the Assam University admission test. The University will release the merit list for UG candidates after a few days from the Assam University admission test. The merit list will be released for every registered candidate through online mode only. Names of shortlisted candidates along with their rank secured for the counseling procedure will be mentioned in the merit list. Further, Candidates will be called for the counseling process based on their rank secured in the merit list.

Assam University 2022 Counseling Procedure
Assam University 2022 counseling procedure will be conducted for every shortlisted applicant who has secured a rank in the merit list. It will be mandatory for the candidates to participate in the counseling procedure as seats will be allotted to them through counseling procedures only.
The final admission will be given to the candidates based on their scores secured in the determined examination and documents verification rounds.
