What’s New in Bihar Intermediate Exam Pattern 2022?
Due to the pandemic in the country, BSEB has decided to make some changes in the exam pattern for Bihar Intermediate Exam 2022. BSEB has also cut out 30% of the syllabus for the board exams due to class suspension. As per the new pattern, the students will also have the liability to choose two language subjects for the exam depending on their choice.

Type of Questions in Bihar Intermediate Exams 2022
The nature of questions for Bihar Intermediate Exams 2022 and the pattern has been explained through the points below:
As per the new pattern, there will be both multiple choice and subjective questions in the exam.
There will be 50% MCQ-type questions and 50% subjective questions for each subject.
The subjective questions will consist of both short answer and long answer questions.
The 100 marks paper will have 60 MCQs out of which the candidates have to attempt 50 MCQs. The 70 marks paper will have 42 MCQs out of which the candidates have to attempt 35 MCQs. The 50 marks paper will have 30 MCQs out of which the candidates have to attempt 25 MCQs.
The 100 and 70 marks paper will have 8 and 6 long answer questions of 5 marks each. Out of these, the candidates will have to attempt only 5 and 3 long answer questions.
There will be more questions of 2 marks. For 100 marks paper, there will be 25 two marks questions out of which 15 must be answered. For 70 marks paper, there will be 18 two marks questions out of which 10 must be answered.
There will be no 3 marks questions.
The language papers (Hindi, English, etc.) will have long answer questions of more than 5 marks.

Important Points for Marking Scheme
Some of the important points regarding Bihar Intermediate Exams 2022 marking is listed below:
The minimum marks to qualify for the exam is 30 marks in each subject.
The students who achieve 300 or more marks in total will be passed with 1st division.
The students who achieve marks between 225 and 300 in total will be passed with the 2nd division.
The students who achieve marks between 150 and 225 in total will be passed with the 3rd division.
Students who achieve less than 150 marks in total will be declared as failed.
OMR Instructions for Bihar Intermediate Exams 2022
The Bihar Intermediate Exams 2022 will be conducted through the OMR sheets. Some of the important instructions for OMR with regards to Bihar Intermediate Exams 2022 are given below:
Important instructions will be written at the backside of the OMR sheet. The candidates must read all the instructions carefully before writing the exam.
The candidates will have to use a blue or black pen to darken the bubbles on the OMR sheet.
There will be 5 bubble boxes for each answer. Out of 4 boxes, the correct answer box must be darkened. The candidates will have to write the answer in the 5th box.
The answer that has been written in the 5th box will be considered as the final answer. If the question is not written in the 5th box, it will be considered as not attempted.
If the answer has been written in 5th box and the bubble has not been darkened, the question will be considered attempted.
Apart from 5 boxes, one extra circle will be given which must be filled by the students if and only if they are not attempting the question.
