• The candidate must have passed a Bachelors's degree in B.Ed for a total of 1 or 2 years duration recognized by the University of Calicut or the candidates must have passed 4 years integrated teacher education degree program (B.El.Ed/ BSc.Ed/ B.A.Ed) recognized by the University of Calicut.

• The candidate must have acquired an aggregate of 50% in the qualifying exam.

• An additional weightage shall be given to candidates with postgraduate degrees in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities.

Calicut University M.Ed Admission Merit List 2023

• 15 marks weightage will be given to students who secured a B.Ed Degree from the University of Calicut. 

• For every year of approved teaching experience in Govt./ Aided / Recognized institutions such as Elementary Teacher Training Institute or in an Elementary/ Secondary/ Senior Secondary School, the weightage of 5 marks will be provided subject to a maximum of 25 marks.

Calicut University M.Ed Admission Admission Process 2023

The merit list prepared by the University of Calicut will be shared with all the Department/ Colleges/University Centres. The admission will be done through a centralized admission procedure. The Department/ Colleges/University Centres will conduct the admission process on the prescribed schedule on the basis of merit list.
