CMAT 2022 has been conducted on April 9 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The question paper of CMAT 2022 consists of a total number of 100 questions and 20 questions each from five sections. The subjects that are included in the exam are Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The maximum marks for each section of CMAT 2022 are 80 (20 questions) and 4 marks are awarded for each correct attempt. On the other hand, 1 mark is deducted for each wrong attempt by the candidate. CMAT 2022 Analysis: First Reaction
As per the first reaction received from students and experts, the major highlights of the CMAT 2022 question paper analysis are as follows -
- The difficulty level of the exam was moderate/ moderately easy
- Some questions were tricky
- Only 2-3 questions from each section were tricky but the rest were doable
- GK section was a bit heavy and tough
- DI section was a bit lengthy
- The quantitative section was easy
- Verbal Ability was easy
- There were 4-5 questions related to Antonyms and Synonyms
- Certain questions from Probability are wrong
- The innovation and Entrepreneurship section was logical with respect to questions but moderately easy
- The expected cutoff could be around 330+
- 80+ percentile (200+ marks) can be considered a decent for getting admission
