The admission process is based on entrance exams and/or merit, as applicable for the chosen programme, and eligibility is determined by Class 12 or graduation criteria defined for the specific programme. • Admission to B.Tech is entrance exam-based, with maths and physics as compulsory subjects in 12th.
• For B.Tech lateral entry, one must have scored a minimum of 45 % in the diploma of engineering.
• For admission to B.Sc, BBA, BCA, B.Pharma, and B.Ed, the candidate needs to have scored 45 - 50 % in their 12th board exams.
• Admission to M.Tech is based on GATE, followed by PTU counseling with B Tech in relevant streams.
• Admissions to M.Sc, and MCA at Chandigarh Group of Colleges are merit-based with graduation in a relevant discipline.
• For getting admission into B. Pharma, a 45 % score in the 12th board exam is a must, along with physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects.
