CMAT Cutoff 2024 for Welingkar Mumbai

The candidate should have registered, appeared for, and obtained a valid score in the CMAT 2024 exam to seek enrollment in the PGDM programmes offered by Welingkar Mumbai. The other eligibility requirements for PGDM admission are as follows:

• Candidates must have obtained a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration from a recognized university, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA to seek admission to Welingkar Mumbai.
• Applicants must have completed their graduation by the deadline, i.e. June 2024.
• Candidates who have fulfilled the degree requirements and are awaiting results, as well as those who are appearing for the final year exam of their bachelor's degree programme or equivalent qualification exam, are also qualified to apply for Welingkar Mumbai admission 2024.
• It must be noted that if a student appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree exam is offered admission, they are deemed provisionally eligible by Welingkar Mumbai and they are required to submit their mark sheet and degree certificate from the final year bachelor's degree exam by the deadline announced by the institute.
• For PGDM-HCM, candidates must have educational background in Pharma, AYUSH and specific sciences microbiology.
• For PGDM-Rural Management, candidates should have an educational background like B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Horticulture, B.Tech Agricultural Engineering, B.Sc. Agribusiness Management, etc.

Welingkar Mumbai Selection Process 2024

Meeting or exceeding the CMAT cutoff is just the first step in the Welingkar Mumbai selection process. Securing the cutoff is essential to progress to the subsequent stages where candidates will be evaluated based on group discussions, personal interviews, academic performance, work experience, and other criteria. 

• Academic profile along with Class 10, 12 and Graduation Marks will be considered by the institute.
• In profile-based shortlisting, relevant work experience is considered.
• While shortlisting for the GD-PI round, extra-curricular activities (District, State, National, International level only) will be considered.
• The final selection of candidates will be based on the scores obtained in the CMAT exam, Work Experience, Academic performance (Class 10, 12 and Graduation Marks), Extra-curricular activities, Group Activity score, and scores obtained in the Personal Interview.
• It must be noted that only the merit of the candidates will be taken into consideration to provide admissions to Welingkar Mumbai.
• There is no discrimination on the basis of the state from which the candidate has obtained his/her graduation certificate.
• For linguistic minorities, no reservation of seats has been observed.
• In the final selection, the weightage of CMAT 2024 scores is 40%.
• The weightage of the interview Questionnaire and Personal Interview (PIQ) is 40%. The individual aptitude and personality attributes of the candidate will be assessed in this round.
• The weightage given to X, XII, and Graduation scores is 15%.
• 5% weightage is given to extra-curricular activities, sports, awards and achievements at District, National, International level, Academic diversity etc.
