Is CUET just for science students?

CUET exam is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programmes at various central universities in India. It is not only for science students; it also includes streams such as commerce, arts, and humanities.

 

What are the fields of CUET?

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is used to admit students to undergraduate programmes in Arts, Humanities, Science,  Commerce, Vocational Studies, some Engineering programmes, Law, and Education at India's participating universities.

 

What happens if I pass the CUET exam?

The CUET Examination is required for admission to India's top universities in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. There are numerous courses in the arts, sciences, and business study fields. CUET includes many of the top central and state universities.

Is only the class 12 syllabus covered in CUET?

According to the NTA's CUET 2024 syllabus, the questions may come from topics covered in Class 11 and 12. The detailed syllabus for each subject is provided on the official website of CUET 2024.

 

Is the CUET exam difficult?

The CUET exam is considered moderately difficult for the average student. If a student does not adequately prepare or review the courses and themes, they should anticipate a difficult exam. The decision is made based on the student's level of exam preparation and the amount of review he or she has completed.

 

Can a 12th fail student apply for CUET?

If an applicant fails one or more 12th-grade subjects, they will be ineligible to apply for CUET in 2024. Even if a candidate passes the entrance exam, admission to the programme is not guaranteed unless they meet the requirements of the university to which they apply.

 

Can I choose three subjects for CUET?

According to the most recent CUET exam pattern, a student can choose up to six subjects (combining all three sections). A maximum of five domain subjects may be selected.

Is CUET only for engineers?

The Common University Entrance Test, or CUET, is an exam for admission to various undergraduate courses such as BTech, BSc, BCA, BA, BCom, and BA-LLB, among others.

 

Is CUET similar to the NEET?

CUET is the most adaptable of the three exams, covering a broad range of subjects and being accepted by a large number of universities. JEE Main and NEET are more specialised exams that are required for admission to engineering and medical schools, respectively.
