AP LAWCET 2024 Seat Allotment Process

AP LAWCET 2024 seat allotment will be conducted in an online mode starting from August 2024. The seat allotment will be conducted in two rounds, however, if the seats still remain vacant, there might be an institute level round conducted on the spot.

This seat allotment will be undertaken under the guidance of the official exam conducting body which is Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). It will grant admission to law courses offered by government and private colleges and universities situated in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

In order to participate in the seat allotment, candidates have to complete the counselling process under which a document verification would be done and the preferences will be locked by the candidate. The final seat allocation will depend upon several factors such as total number of seats available, marks secured by candidate in the entrance exam, his or her academic achievements, caste or domicile category of the candidate, reservation policy followed by the institute, availability of course specialisation etc. 

Once the seats have been allocated, the canodates have to report to the allocated institute for further admission formalities in order to confirm their seat.

• The candidates who have been allocated seats, and are satisfied with the allocated seat, must report to the allotted institution on the prescribed date and time without delay in order to confirm their seat and fulfill further admission formalities.
• Candidates who have not been allocated a seat or are not satisfied with the seat allocated must not delay filling the registration forms for the subsequent rounds.
• Candidates must provide legal and authentic documents during and after the seat allotment and should cooperate with the admission authorities during the college reporting process.
• After completion of all relevant rounds and verifications, candidates must proceed with the payment of admission fees without any delay in order to confirm their admission.
