Passing Percentage for Class 10 Board Exam
Each board test paper (including the additional subject) will be worth a total of 80 marks, and in order to pass each paper, a student must receive at least 33% of the marks available.What Happens If a Student Fails?
If a student fails one of the three academic subjects that are required for completion (Science, Mathematics, and Social Science) but succeeds in the Skill subject (offered as the sixth optional subject), the academic subject that failed will be substituted for the Skill subject, and the graduation grade for Class 10 will be calculated accordingly.If a student fails one of the first five required language subjects, the failed subject will be replaced by the language chosen for the sixth subject (if no skills subjects are offered) or the seventh subject (optional), provided the student has passed the failed language subject and Hindi or English still counts as a passed language in the first five subjects after the replacement.
