The Gujarat University B.Ed admission 2025 is conducted online through the GCAS portal. Take a look at the detailed Gujarat University admission process below:
- Visit the GCAS website or click on the admission link on the Government of Gujarat website.
- Complete the registration by entering your name, date of birth as per the HSC Marksheet, mobile and email ID. Your username and password will be sent to you on your registered mobile number and email ID.
- They have to log in again with these credentials and fill up the application form at different universities and colleges thereunder.
- Enter all your basic details, click on the save button, add the personal details, click save and next, then add the academic details like your marksheet, category certificate, etc. documents.
- Applicants must have their latest photo and signature with a maximum size of 50 KB (JPG/JPEG Format). The marksheet, caste certificate, EWS certificate, etc have to be uploaded with a maximum size of 200 KB.
- Students need to select their preferred college under Gujarat University.
- Verify all the details and press ‘Lock’ to save your details. The university will not entertain a change of college name after this. Pay Rs 300 online for the admission process.
- Candidates have to log in and rearrange their choice of college.
- Next, a candidate can download only one admission offer letter for the B.Ed course wherever he/ she can take the admission and has to go for reporting at the respective college with their original documents as per schedule.
- Report to the respective college with original documents of their mark sheets, category certificates, Admission Offer Letters, etc.
- Students coming from schools located out of Gujarat state are mandatorily required to obtain a Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from the Gujarat University.
- Respective colleges will verify all original documents and mark sheets of the student. If all documents and mark sheets are correct and the details and merit rank have been entered, then students can proceed for admission. In case of discrepancy, the college will refuse admission.
- After verification, the college will enter the ID of the student through the college login and then GCAS will send the OTP to the registered mobile of the student, the college has to enter that OTP on the GCAS Portal to confirm the admission. Then student has to pay fees at the college and secure admission.
- After the completion of the Gujarat University B.Ed admission process, the admission rights in other colleges will be cancelled.

- The applicant must have earned a bachelor's (10+2+3) or master's degree in science, social science, humanities, or business from a reputable university.
- According to NCTE guidelines, candidates must have received a minimum overall score of 50% (or 45% for applicants in a reserved category) in the qualifying exam to be considered for B.Ed admission.
- Candidates having an engineering degree with a minimum of 55% marks will be eligible for Gujarat University B.Ed admission 2025.
- There is no upper age limit for B.Ed admission to Gujarat University.
- In a 6:1 ratio, the qualifying exam candidate who studied sociology and philosophy will be admitted to social science courses.

- The main subject at graduation or post-graduation level is considered as the subject for admission. If allotted seats in any subject are not filled then the college may transfer the seats in other subjects by maintaining an upper limit of 25 seats in the subject.
