IIT JAM 2025 Exam Day Guidelines and Reporting Instructions: Knowing the exam timing and reporting instructions is important for avoiding last-minute stress if you are taking IIT JAM 2025 Exam.IIT JAM 2025 examwill be conducted in two shifts tomorrow, February 2, 2025, with each paper having a specific time slot. The morning shift will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and this session will include papers like Chemistry(CY), Geology(GG), Mathematics(MA). IIT JAM 2025 afternoon shift will run from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, which will cover papers such as Biotechnology(BT), Economics(EN), Mathematical Statistical(MS), Physics(PH). IIT JAM 2025 exam is computer-based, and students should double-check their admit cards to ensure they have the correct paper and shift scheduling for their courses. IIT JAM 2025 Important Instructions

IIT JAM 2025 reporting timing must be followed by the test takers. One must decide on the time taken to reach the exam centre from their place. In case anyone has chosen a city outside, they must relocate at least 1 week early. We have provided some important IIT JAM reporting instructions below:

  1. Test takers are advised to reach IIT JAM exam centre 90 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
  2. Candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall 40 minutes before shift time for verification of admit card and photo capture. Login to the systems will be allowed 20 minutes before shift timing. 
  3. Students after login must carefully go through the instructions given in the question paper
  4. Even if any candidates complete the exam paper on time, they won’t be allowed to leave the exam hall till the exam ends.
  5. Candidates should mandatorily bring their admit card and photo identity proof to the IIT JAM 2025 exam centre. Without it, entry is not possible. 

IIT JAM 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

  • On the day of IIT JAM 2025 exam, make sure to bring your Admit Card and a valid Photo-Identity Proof.
  • Before the exam starts, your fingerprint and/or photograph might be taken for verification during the admission process. To avoid any issues, make sure your fingers are clean and free from any coatings like ink, mehendi, or tattoos.
  • Remember, mobile phones (even if switched off), smartwatches, calculators, and other electronic devices are not allowed in the exam hall. You also cannot bring in any other gadgets, printed materials, or handwritten notes.
  • During the exam, you are not allowed to communicate with other students in any way, whether it's talking or using gestures.
  • Don’t tamper with the computer or any other equipment in the exam hall.
  • Lastly, using unfair means during the exam will result in disqualification from the current and future IIT JAM exams.
