The official notification contains all the details regarding the KCET Pharmacy exam dates. The KCET B.Pharma registration process began online on 23rd January 2025, and KCET B.Pharma registration ended on 18th February 2025 (11:59 PM). The last date to submit the application fees was 20th February 2025.

The KCET 2025 exam date is scheduled for 16th and 17th April 2025 for the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology papers. The Kannada medium test is on April 18th 2025 (from 10:30 am to 11:30 am). The KCET admit card 2025 was released on April 6, 2025, and will be available for download online from the official website - kea.kar.nic.in. (11:00 am onwards).

KCET 2025 registration includes completing the form, registering, uploading supporting documentation, and paying the price. According to the KCET 2025 eligibility criteria, students need to pass class 12 with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology must be the core subjects of the students at the 10+2 level.

KCET 2025 Mathematics Paper Analysis: Day 2 - Shift 1

The KCET exam 2025 Maths paper for Pharmacy for Day 2 was conducted between 10:30 AM and 11:50 AM for Shift 1. The question paper has overall 60 questions to be answered within an 80-minute test duration, where one mark is allotted to each MCQ, totalling 60 marks. In addition, the exam does not follow a negative marking system, thus, students were free to answer all MCQs to score maximum marks.

Compared to last year's analysis, the Mathematics question paper for the KCET 2025 Pharmacy exam was a bit easier this year, i.e., moderate-level difficulty. While MCQs from the Pharmacy sections were easy, the overall paper was quite lengthy and time-consuming. As expected, the exam questions were much easier compared to the typical JEE Main Maths question paper.

KCET 2025 Biology Paper Analysis: Day 2 - Shift 2

The KCET 2025 exam for Pharmacy for Biology paper for Day 2 was conducted offline at various exam centres in Karnataka between 2:30 PM and 3:50 PM for Shift 2. The question set contained a total of 60 questions, carrying one mark each, totalling 60 marks for this subject. Since there was no negative marking on the test, students were free to mark as many correct answers as they could.

Similar to the previous year's analysis, the Biology question paper for the KCET Pharmacy exam 2025 was easy and not lengthy. Nearly 60-70% MCQs from the Pharmacy stream were directly asked from the 2nd PUC syllabus, whereas the rest of the 30% questions were from the 1st PUC NCERT syllabus. In addition, some questions were repeated from the official previous year’s papers with slight changes.

The MCQs from the Pharmacy stream were easy to answer and not time-consuming. The paper set had a balanced distribution of major sections like Human and Plant Physiology, Genetics and Evolution, Biotechnology, and Ecology and Environment. In general, the overall Biology paper was of an easy-to-moderate level of difficulty, which required conceptual understanding and analytical skills to be completed within the exam duration. For students who have been well-prepared for the subject from NCERT textbooks, the test was easily doable.

The KCET 2025 merit/ ranking is determined by KEA based on the following factors mentioned below:-

B.Pharm

  • Merit will be determined based on the performance of the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects 

  • PCB or PCM marks whichever is highest in Common Entrance Test 2025. 

  • A common rank list will be prepared and published separately for admission to B-Pharma. 

  • The candidates who have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy course seeking admission to B-Pharma should compulsorily submit their photocopy of the D-Pharma (final year) Marks card on which the CET number is boldly written to KEA. Failing which Rank will not be assigned to the candidate

  • Separate result sheets showing the B-Pharm ranks will be published on the notified date on the KEA Website@kea.kar.nic.in

B.Pharm (Lateral Entry)

  • Based on the performance of the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects 

  • PCB or PCM marks whichever is highest in the Common Entrance Test 2025. A common rank list will be prepared and published separately for admission to 2nd Year B-Pharm (Lateral Entry)

  • Separate result sheets showing the second-year B-Pharm ranks will be published on the notified date on the KEA Website @kea.kar.nic.in.

Note: Candidates who have any objections in respect of any of the entries or issues or discrepancies in the result sheets, of the Common Entrance Test, can submit their objections within three days of publication of the result.

KCET B Pharma 2025 Result

Following the completion of the KCET 2025 B Pharma, the authority publishes the results on its official website. The link to the official scorecards gets activated on the KEA's official website. To view the KCET 2025 result, candidates must enter their roll number and click the search option. The KCET results can be viewed in the form of a scorecard.
