- The candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% aggregate marks (47.5% for SC/ ST/ Blind/ Physically Handicapped candidates) from a recognised institution.
- If the candidate has passed a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Science and Mathematics, he/ she must have acquired an aggregate of 55% (52.25% in the case of SC/ ST/ Blind/ Physically Handicapped candidates) in the qualifying exam.
- The candidates who have passed a Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanity with 55% aggregate are also eligible to apply.
- There shall be no rounding off of a percentage of marks of the qualifying examination from 0.5% and above to the next higher number for determining the eligibility i.e. 49.50% and above will not be rounded off to 50%.
- Relaxation in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ DA in case of percentage of minimum qualifying marks shall be as per the Government of Haryana Policy announced from time to time.
- The candidates who have done a one-year PG diploma will not be considered equivalent to a Master's degree.
- Trained in-service teachers in elementary education can apply.
- Candidates who have completed an NCTE-recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
- Only in-service teachers working in any Recognized Government/Aided/Private School/Educational Institution are eligible.
