MH CET Law 2024 counselling will begin in June 2024, and the CAP portal for 3-year LLB is now active. The exam was conducted on March 12 and 13, 2024 for the 3-year LLB and May 30, 2024 for the 5-year LLB course. The counselling process is usually termed CAP or Centralized Admission Process which is conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra. The counselling process is conducted in 3 rounds, CAP Round 1 and CAP Round and Institute-Level ACAP Round. MH CET Law 2024 Counselling Steps
MH CET Law 2024 aspirants can check the steps given below to understand the step-by-step counselling process of the examination.
- The candidates need to first complete the registration process to participate in the MH CET Law 2024 counselling.
- To complete the registration process, candidates need to enter the CET roll number, password and security pin on the official website.
- Lots of colleges are participating in MH CET Law 2024, so eligible candidates need to select their preferred colleges from the list.
- The exam authority will release a merit-cum provisional seat allotment list.
- The final MH CET Law merit list will contain the names of the eligible candidates.
- Candidates will get the option of choice locking for the allotted college, but before that, they have to get the required documents verified, accept the allotted seat, pay the fee and confirm their final admission.
- A time will be allotted to the candidates to complete the admission process and report to the allotted colleges.
What After Document Verification for MH CET Law 2024 Counselling?
Once the documents of the students are verified, they are required to participate in the seat allotment of MH CET Law. The seat allotment process is done under the Maharashtra State Candidature type and All India Candidature type. Thereafter, the shortlisted candidates have to lock the allotted seats by paying the acceptance fee. Such aspirants have to report to the institute before the issued deadline in order to complete all the admission formalities. An applicant also has the option of participating in subsequent rounds by not reporting at the allotted institute and not paying the acceptance fee.
