XLRI GD Topics: XLRI Jamshedpur selection process 2024 includes Group Discussion (GD), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Candidates who meet the minimum XAT cutoff defined by the institute are called for selection rounds to offer admission into MBA/PGDM programs. The XLRI GD round is conducted for 20-30 minutes, where a group of students is given a topic to discuss. When the topic is announced, participants are given some time to think about it and then each one of them has to speak on it for about 1 minute. XLRI GD rounds are conducted on a wide range of topics such as Politics, Economics, Society, Lifestyle, Philosophy, and other such matters. Candidates must be prepared to face any questions at any given time during the rounds. Those who qualify for the XLRI group discussion round are called for further rounds. Only the candidates who qualify for all the rounds one after the other will make it to the final merit list.

XLRI Jamshedpur is one of the popular MBA colleges in India. Many candidates appear for the XAT exam every year, but only a few qualify for the final merit list. Highlights of XLRI GD Round

Below are the highlights of the XAT GD/PI round:

  • For GD rounds, candidates will be divided into groups with each group having 8-10 members.

  • The GD rounds are conducted within a duration of 20-30 minutes.

  • The Invigilator will reveal the topics and provide some time for the candidates to ponder upon them.

  • Then each candidate will be given time to speak their point and put forward their viewpoints.

  • Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their behaviour, tone, points put forward, and arguments.

  • Each candidate must speak for a minimum of one minute.

  • Candidates will also be given time to argue with each other and place their opinions.
