MH CET Law 2024 Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions

The exam centre address will be mentioned on the MH CET Law admit card. If you are not familiar with the location, make sure you get an idea of the time taken to reach the centre. It is essential to know the other details related to the exam centre as well, such as the traffic on the way to the centre, whether or not it has a parking spot, etc.

It is of extreme importance that candidates reach the MH CET Law exam centre on time. The reporting time will be mentioned on the admit card and the candidates are requested to t follow them strictly. The students need to carry a valid photo identity proof along with the MH CET Law admit card. Any one of the original documents such as a Voter Card, Aadhar card, PAN card, Passport, Permanent Driving License, Bank passbook with affixed photograph, Photo- Identity proof issued by the Gazetted officer and Employers ID with Photograph can be carried to the examination hall.

The students who will be selected for the MH CET Law participating institutes will be based on merit. The candidates have to clear the law exam to move to the counselling round. While registering for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), candidates must pick the MH CET Law participating colleges according to their choice. Once the seat is allocated to a student, he/ she must report to the allocated college to complete the admission process and pay the course fee.

MH CET Law is taken for admission to the 3-year and the 5-year LL.B programmes. The subjects included in the 3-year LL.B course are Legal aptitude and legal reasoning, General knowledge with current affairs, English and Logical and analytical reasoning. The Legal aptitude & legal reasoning and Logical & analytical reasoning sections consist of 30 questions each. While General knowledge with current affairs contains 40 questions and the English section contains 50 questions. On the other hand, the 5-year LL.B exam consists of Legal aptitude and legal reasoning (40 questions), General knowledge with current affairs (30 questions), Maths (10 questions), English (30 questions) and Logical and analytical reasoning (40 questions). 

The items that MH CET Law candidates can carry along with them to the examination centre are MH CET Law Hall Ticket with an attached photo, Original photo ID proof, Original proof for change in the candidate’s name or surname and One or two ballpoint pens. The admit card is the most important document that has to be carried by all the candidates to the exam hall. Without the hall ticket candidates will not be allowed to take the entrance examination.
