Odisha B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024 Guidelines for Filling OMR Answer Sheet
As the Odisha BEd entrance exam is administered in offline mode, it is crucial for candidates to familiarise themselves with the protocols for completing the OMR answer sheet. To assist aspirants in understanding how to record their responses, we have compiled the key instructions related to the OMR sheet -
- Carbonless OMR sheets will be supplied to the candidates for writing their answers.
- These sheets will include the critical details such as the Roll number, aspirant’s name, examination date and session, examination centre’s name, and assigned set Code such as A / B / C / D, etc.
- It is imperative for the examinees to confirm that they have received both the Question Booklet Set and the OMR sheet.
- The OMR sheet has two sections - One is the Original Copy or known as the Office Copy, and the other is the Lower sheet or known as the Student’s Copy.
- After the test concludes, the candidates should hand over the Office Copy to the Invigilator. The students are permitted to take the other sheet with them, which is the Lower sheet.
- Candidates appearing for the BEd Arts Stream or BEd Science Stream will be issued distinct booklets for the test.
- The aspirants must check and confirm that they got the correct Booklet Set as per their stream, as indicated in the OMR sheet.
- Leaving the examination hall is forbidden for all examinees under any circumstances before the examination is over.
- Furthermore, the student must personally submit the Office Copy of the OMR sheet to the Invigilator.
- Every question in the exam will furnish four options, out of which one will be the correct answer. The aspirants must darken the circle completely to indicate their chosen answer. If a candidate is unsure of an answer, they must refrain from marking any circle against that question as due to negative marking, it may lead to a loss of marks.
- Candidates must note that the scanner will discard any half-filled circle or any other mark put on the circles, such as an x-mark or tick mark, while the answer sheet is being evaluated. Hence the students are advised to correctly mark the circles on the OMR sheet.
- If the examinee marks more than one circle or faintly marks the circle while attempting the questions in a rush, the scanner, during the review, will not consider that answer leading to a low score for the student.
