I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), formerly known as Punjab Technical University (PTU), does not accept direct admissions to its programs. Students must meet the eligibility criteria to apply. Eligible Students can fill out an online application on the official IKGPTU website. To qualify for the BPharm course, Students must have completed class 12 with relevant subjects and scored at least 45%. Students with a Diploma in Pharmacy also need at least 45% aggregate marks. It is important to meet these eligibility requirements, and Students must submit their class 12 and diploma certificates during admission.

IKGPTU offers a four-year BPharm course. Many colleges affiliated with PTU also provide this course. Students must have completed class 12 from a recognized board to gain admission. The university also offers a three-year BPharm (Lateral) course divided into six semesters. Aspiring pharmacy students can apply for scholarships by taking the National Entrance Scholarship Test (NEST) at Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC).

The Students will be able to check the IKGPTU 2025 Cut Off through online mode. The university will publish a separate cut-off list for each course. The university will release a cut off in closing ranks for admission. 

Students will have to score more than or equal to the minimum closing ranks to be eligible to get admission to IKGPTU and its affiliated universities. Students scoring the cut-off marks will be invited to participate in the IKGPTU counselling process.
