UP B.Ed JEE comprises 4 sections, General Knowledge, Hindi/ English, General Aptitude Test and Subject Ability. The papers having their maiden name or caste should always be mentioned by married female applicants. The candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories must have a minimum of 50% marks in Science/ Social Science/ Humanitarian studies from a recognised university. BE, B.Tech (with Mathematics and Science) students must have a minimum of 55%. The SC/ ST category candidates must have a degree from a recognised university and students from other categories must achieve a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes who are originally from Uttar Pradesh will get reservations.
What is the exam pattern of UP B.Ed JEE?
UP B.Ed JEE is conducted offline, in paper and paper mode. The exam consists of two sets of papers, each consisting of 2 sections. The four sections are General Knowledge, Language (Hindi/ English), General Aptitude and Subject Ability. Each section consists of 50 objective-type questions where each correct answer carries 2 marks and for each incorrect answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted.
